Have been a vegan for a while and tried some other vegan brands and didn't like them. These are awesome! Taste just like regular marshmallows, have a great texture, they melt perfectly, you can cook with them, and all without the nasty gelatin! I can't wait for amazon to get them in. Best Marshmallows Ever
Title says it all.I'm a vegetarian and have been missing marshmallows, and not just for cocoa. I used to make a fantastic fudge but with no marshmallows, well, no fudge. I picked up a bag of these at my local natural food store. I've been looking at them suspiciously for a couple of months now and finally caved last week.These are the best ever! I've been eating them like candy. Oh, wait! They are candy. I'm picking up some graham crackers and will be fixing some s'mores real soon.I hope that Amazon gets some soon.November 2011 Update:I am tempted to take away a star for changes that I've experience with the Dandies marshmallows in the past few months. They've become smaller in size. Not having any of the older ones handy (not surprising), my guess is that they are 1/3 to 1/2 the size of the earlier Dandies. How are they so delicious???
So I'm not a vegan, just vegetarian, but I've been missing marshmallows for a while. Why we feel the need to stick ground up animal bones (gelatin) into food is ridiculous and unnecessary, but that's another debate.Anyway, I saw these in the store tonight and hesitantly purchased it, honestly thinking they would suck. Oh how I was wrong. These are delicious. They're fluffy, creamy and taste great. The only thing that could make these better would be if they were organic.They were pricey (at least locally, at the moment Amazon is out of stock so I don't know their pricing) but I would definitely buy these again.

Love these natural marshmallows!
These marshmallows are really tasty and don't have all the artificial junk that normal marshmallows do. They do taste very slightly different than regular marshmallows, but I actually think I prefer these. They work great for S'mores. They weren't great for making rice krispie treats, though - they hardened up too much and I had rice krispie rocks (although heating them up in the microwave for 15 seconds or so worked wonders - and I just used a regular rice krispie treats recipe, so I might just need to find a recipe specifically for natural marshmallows). Overall, a great product!

A celiac child's dream-no gluten
My son loves these. He has no other choice and Glenny's is the only one who makes a plain/vanilla flavor. He is not interested in the other choices Glenny's has or some of the other brands version of a rice krispie treat. I have two questions however.....why is this never available on Amazon? I can get any other flavor here, but not the blue box/plain flavor Glenny's. The stores have them but charge so much!! I have a 14 yr old who is eating me out of house and home right now and will take two/three at a time when going out the door. My second question is when will Kellogs get off their rear ends and take the malt out of rice krispies so he can eat the regular version? I think they do it on purpose so they don't have to address the gluten free issue! Please Amazon get this flavor in stock!!!

Decent flavor, but...
I got really excited when I saw these gelatin-free treats on the shelf at my local health food store. I was also impressed by the brown rice and relatively low sugar content in these bars, so I had to buy a pack. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed when I got home and tried one out. It had a good flavor, but seemed hard and stale. I opened another one later on and it was the same way. I checked the expiration date on the box and saw that they were still fresh, so I guess that's how they are supposed to be. I probably won't buy these again, which is unfortunate because they had seemed like such a great find.

Wow,I didn't know what to expect with an organic marshmallow,but this product is great. It had flavor, a differentbut great texture and last a long time in your mouth.I did a taste test, organic verses regular with a few peopleand after tasting the organic they thought the reqularmarshmallow taste absolutely horrible.I am very pleased with this product and will continue topurchase it, as long as the ingredients are/stay wholesome,and the price doesn't get any steepier. Where Can I buy Vegan Marshmallows

I came across the ceramic egg carton / pastel cracked eggs and snatched them up knowing that I would find a way to use them and when I glanced through the pantry to see the ingredients I had on hand this recipe quickly came together. I have a hard time saying “no” when I see a really cute serving dish, especially when I can justify it by saying that I will use it for this website.

Sweet Vegan marshmallows Last bonfire night we tried the marshmallows from Sweet Vegan , which were gorgeous. Sweet & Sara vegetarian marshmallows Sweet & Sara vegetarian marshmallows were the first we tried. We had them on a camping trip and they were fine both toasted and as is. They were almost more like a gooey nougat than a marshmallow (I actually preferred them to ordinary marshmallows), and went down well with kids and adults alike. My advice is to buy the bigger packs, which do work out a bit less expensive, or buy several packs at once, to save on shipping costs. Sweet Vegan also offer mini marshmallows and often have an exotic ‘flavour of the month’. As vegetarian marshmallows are quite heavy compared to ordinary ones you don’t get as much for the weight and shipping also works out quite costly. The main problem with vegetarian marshmallows, as I’ve mentioned before, is that they work out quite expensive. They come in a wide range of really yummy flavours, are lighter than the other marshmallows we’ve tested and really do melt in your mouth. You can also get Rocky Road, Smores and mini marshmallows by Sweet & Sara , though we haven’t actually sampled these yet.
