SanDisk's 8GB Cruzer Micro - Great All-Around USB Drive
The Cruzer Micro is a great USB flash drive with some significant advantages. You don't have to worry about losing the cap. There is a chance of getting dust in the head, so make sure to clean it from time to time with compressed air. Kingston also makes some retractable USB models as well, but in general I still prefer SanDisk.This guy has 2, 4 and 8 GB sizes. 8GB is kind of the minimum size I would purchase at this point, since I have a ton of smaller drives already. This guy has the smallest case out of regular USB drives out there. The only way to get smaller storage is to my a memory card or a micro drive.The small slot and ring are not really sturdy enough to secure this drive. The Cruzer Slide, on the other hand, has a nice attachment ring. But it is much bigger...

How to Disable U3 Virtual ROM Drive
0. These instructions are for Windows XP.1. In Windows Explorer allow hidden files to be seen.2. Delete everything in 'new' Cruzer. -- If you click on the 'U3...(E:) drive, it will now hang.3. Right click on 'Removable Disk (F:) and choose 'Properties'.4. Click on the 'Hardware' Tab.5. Almost perfect
Have been using this 8Gig USB drive for few months (replaced Sandisk 4Gig). Works great, no probelms in using and (so far) zero hassle in using.So why 4 stars and not five?-Does not come (at least in my purchase) a round-the-neck lanyard. Maybe this was a error in the original plastic packaging but without this, worried about forgetting it.-I cannot get rid of the pre-installed software on this. (As soon as I plug in via USB, it "pops up" a message and then my (Vista) PC displays the device discovered message. I have tried to uninstall the software to make the USB drive a "dumb" device but after three attempts (format, erase and using the device software's uninstall programme), nothing works.Otherwise, have used Sandisk in past, all have worked great and I really have recommended this to friends as an ideal backup solution.

Works just like the original
Bought this one to replace the one that came with my Garmin 405 forerunner. I forgot to remove it from my laptop and snapped that first one in half.At first I wasn't sure this was the right part, but after looking and comparing the part number from Garmin's website to this part number, it is the same ANT and it DOES work for my Garmin 405. Didn't have to do anything special, just hooked it up and it worked for uploading on the first try.Saved me alot of money, this one was way cheaper than the one directly from Garmin

Garmin Ant Stick works well...and with a Mac!
I bought this Garmin ANT stick to use with the Garmin FR60. I didn't catch the web site description saying it was to be used with a different item. I checked the Garmin Web Site however and the product number is the same as that which came with the watch. Whew. Putting it on a lanyard is a great idea as it is quite easy to lose. Lost the original ANT stick the watch came with. Glad I was able to get this replacement for a good deal at Clever Training through Amazon. Downloaded Software from the Garmin website. Using Firefox as my browser on a Mac. No problems downloading. Works like a charm with my Mac. Through Garmin Connect you get to see charts of your heart rate and laps. Love it. Wish the watch (FR60) had GPS sometimes, but it is a smaller watch so they probably can't fit it inside the watch just yet (but that's a different review). I do use the watch with a footpod to get mileage. If you need a replacement ANT stick, this works well. I must say that this process...

Works like a charm.
This perfectly works with my Garmin Forerunner 610. Simple and easy to use.The reason why I gave it four stars is the loop to hook on to a keychain, (or something of that nature,) is so small, it's hard to attach it to anything without feeling like you're going to break it. Also because the cap doesn't isn't physically attached, and sits loosely on the device, so I constantly feel like it's going to pop off and I'm going to loose it.

Mighty Giant: micro card read-writer

Great USB Drive at a Good Value Price
I have had this device for over a month now and I have filled it over 65% already and have had no issues with speed or compatability. Worked on all platforms. I did remove the U3 SW as I prefer to use Portable Apps. I will break down the review as such:Compatibility: I have used it on Win XP, Win Vista, Mac OS X and Windows 2000. No issues at all.Speed: I copied 8 GB worth of data on the very first day. With write speeds around 15+ MB/s - it performed as expected. Its not the fastest but it is adequate for 99% of users.Durability: Well, I didn't think I could say much about this except that it has worked fine daily for the last month or so. I will add that this little device did survive a full wash and dry cycle and still is chugging along. I think that speaks volumes about its durability. Great Xbox 360 Storage Device
This product works great as a storage device for the Xbox 360. It meets all of the requirements for the 360 and performs perfectly! I have half of it set aside for my Xbox and use the other half for personal files and my PS3 save data backups as well!There are only a couple of drawbacks. The first is the very tiny spot on the back for attaching a keychain (actually, I couldn't get a keychain to fit and instead put a cell phone lanyard with a keychain on the end on it). The second drawback is that when you have the device plugged into something there is a very bright, annoying pulsing light that emanates from the top. This can be very distracting when trying to watch Netflix movies from your Xbox.

Much faster than rated - at least for larger files
This has a very nice compact design. It is about the same size as the (with the USB port retracted). See the size comparison picture I uploaded to Customer Images section. What cannot be seen from the picture is that the Kingston drive is slightly thicker. That makes it impossible to insert two Kingston flash drives into two adjacent USB ports, whereas two Sandisk drives can be stacked one on top of another.I benchmarked the Kingston DT101 G2 flash drive as soon as I received it. Reliable, inexpensive - for travel, backups, media storage
The best thing USB flash drives have going for them is their price, which has been in a free fall for several years and about to go below $1 per GB at the time I'm writing this review. In addition, if your goal is storing data independently of any specific piece of equipment - camera, reader, music player - their size/bulk is an advantage because it's so much easier to lose or break an SD card once it's out of its host.Briefly, this is what it's worth knowing about this item:- I can't see that I've had a big problem with losing caps but the 'capless' design is quite innovative and it does not hurt.- It's fast enough to support video transfer but, of course, it does not come close to the theoretical 60MB/sec max I/O speed that the USB 2.0 specification allows.- Installs itself and does not require any software to be recognized as a 'drive' on a Vista or XP computer. Good drive with a bad cover design
I have a collection of USB thumb drives and use them for a wide range of activities. I transport files, use them as a portable work environment, install portable apps, encrypt them with passwords, transport files from one network to another, use them to boot, ReadyBoost, and run an entire OS - things most consumers will never likely care about.Because I use them so often, it's hard to get excited over a new USB drive unless it has something new or innovative about the design. I was having trouble copying files from my memory stick to the computer.... it would error at random times or spots on two different readers.... so I decided to try one that Sony actually stuck their name on and wholla no trouble copying my avchd files from my stick to the hard drive.......

Great reader!
I bought one of those cheap memory card readers, lets just say you get what you pay for. Its definitely worth spending a couple extra bucks on something that your computer wont stop reading after a week. This reader doesn't read MicroSD and other sorts of mem cards without the adaptor it came with though. This reader is also pretty stylish, it looks like a flip lighter lol
