works great
I have had a hard time controlling my eczema, and have used virtually everything under the sun. This product is really good for all kinds of skin conditions. My eczema cleared up in under a week, and the itchiness is just gone. I have never been so relieved. I mix it with my lotion and apply to the rash, once or twice a day. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with any kind of skin problems.

This sulfur powder is as described. I bought it for my face for some blemish areas. Seems to help reduce them somewhat. If I mix it with my soap for face washing, it leaves my face nice and soft. You just must be careful not to get it in your eyes.

Best chigger repellent ever!
Chiggers are a terrible problem in Oklahoma and their bites are nasty and itch for a long time.The good news is chiggers hate sulfur with a passion. douse your legs and shoes with powdered sulfur before going outside and you will remain bite free!

Sulfur is recovered during gas manufacturing as a molten sulfur. It is then cooled on a stainless steel belt and forms into a flake form. This is the exact flake form in which we sell. Ground sulfur powder is these flakes being ground up in a mill to make the powder form. Both sulfurs are quite pure and are EPA recognized as ok for Animal Feed / consumption.

Sublimed sulfur is recovered from the same manufacturing process, except it is precipitated from the gas in a vapor state rather than through the molten method. This is guaranteed to be safe for human consumption and is considered to be USP grade. USP grade sulfur is no longer produced in the united states and is mostly unavailable. This is due to low demand for human consumption and also the fact that sublimed sulfer is actually no purer than the sulfur we carry. The only different is it is not officially USP grade (for human consumption).

Sulfur powder has a low flammability rating. When burned, it creates sulfur dioxide, a poisonous gas which can kill you and also cause many health hazards if burned in large quantities (acid rain is one of them) In the old days, people used to burn sulfur powder to remove pests and clean out fields. This is not really done anymore and it is strongly recommended to not burn it anywhere near where people live because of the health hazard. In the case of the burning application being necessary, note that pure solid sulfur powder does not burn easily because it requires a lot of oxygen to get that blue flame everyone is looking for. Old time sulfurs which were meant for burning contained oxides mixed in with it to help it burn. The only way to make it burn well is to blast sulfur dust into the air, which is much more flammable because of the better contact with oxygen, or to mix a light amount of oxidizer. Great as a chigger control
This stuff works well to keep the chiggers off your legs. We put it in a sock and dust our shoes and lower legs before walking in the woods. Does not work as well as DEET based controls but is not toxic like DEET. Note: I use DEET based products according to manufactures dirctions (on cloths, not directly on skin) to keep the mosquitoes at bay - works great. But the sulfer is excellent as described.

Healthy Chickens
It worked great to keep our chickens healthy . We mix it with cooked rice and feed it to them once every month or so. It seems to really keep them from having intestinal problems. We were told about this product by a friend who has been involved with poultry for many years.

A Bionic Beauty must buy - Miracle in a jar!
I've been dabbing it on potential breakouts and current pimples now for over six weeks and the stuff is a miracle. It feels a bit goopy at first, apply it sparingly - trust me... a little goes a LONG way. I notice a very, very slight sulfur smell at first, but I've had other friends and family do a sniff check and they can't detect it after even a minute. It works great under makeup, or before bed. Plus if you're like me and have super-sensitive skin (Benzoyl Peroxide and Salicylic Acid often make me break out even worse), this frugal find could be just the ticket to clear up your skin.I've bought a few bottles for friends and family - everyone is having great results! Since I am majorly pinching pennies lately, but don't want my face and skin reverting into a acne-laden nightmare, I'll definitely keep my Sulfur Ointment on my bedside table. My breakouts have decreased significantly, and if I do get a pimple, it heals in a few days rather than over a week or more...

the only thing that works for me!
i mix this equally with moisturizer and my acne is mostly gone!i usually have very oily skin, cystic acne, black heads, white heads and red acne scars... i've tried many products, including prescription acne meds and nothing has worked like this!! i've only been using the product for 2 weeks and i haven't had any cystic acne since i've started using it! my skin flakes off but that's helping the red marks fade fast... i just wipe my face off with a towel to get rid of the peeling skin. if you've suffered with acne and haven't had any luck with other products, give this a shot!

Acne- It works, but read on.
I have tried many other products for acne and none of them have worked like this one. Also, I have recommended this product or a homemade concoction with sulfur to others with very promising results. If you suffer from acne, I would strongly recommend you try this product (or any other sulfur product of sufficient concentration) before trying all the harsh chemicals on your skin such as benzoyl peroxide (proactive, etc) which are not only dangerous but are also pretty expensive.Why only four stars? Because this product does not dry very well and you have to apply it and then remove it after 10 minutes which is pretty inconvenient. Think about it, if you are going to apply it morning and night then you would have to wash your face four times a day since you would also want to clean your face before applying it. Also, it is very drying. You could say that if it works, then it's worth the hassle, which is pretty valid but I will give you a much better way to do it.First, get...
