If you suffer from anxiety Rhodiola may help you deal with it a little better, it helps me Pretty well, but not a complete cure, I still have my moments.I also use L tryptophan along with passhion flower and valerian root,hope this helps someone as an alternative to Prescription drugs.

Very happy
I am a physician who works in a busy Emergency Department. My wife struggles with depression at times. other two reviewers are suspect
I've been researching Rhodiola a lot recently and sorry, but I agree with others who are accusing Bill Flemming of spamming other products. The product you think is so wonderful is offered by someone with BF as the first two letters in their name. Someone with the first two initial of BF is selling Mind, Body and Spirit Rhodiola and that same person is likely you, Bill Flemming (what a coincidence!). Then it seems you either created another identity - also from San Diego - hmmmmm - or its your wife/girlfriend/friend who slams this product in the same way. And I've noticed you've left similar comments on many other Rhodiola products. You even did a review on MB&S Rhodiola touting its greatness and saying "why doesnt amazon carry it?!?!" or something to that effect. your name is all over reviews of these products and all the coincidences combine to create suspicion. I dont know that this is the case with 100% certainty but it certainly smells fishy.

Energy Only
I didn't read the label carefully before I bought this. I thought this was standardized to both rosavins and salidrosides, however it is only standardized to rosavins. So yes the rosavins in this product help me stay more energetic throughout the day and reduce fatigue. But, there probably isn't much salidrosides in this Rhodiola to provide any adaptogenic benefits. So this product will not support your immune system, it will just help with energy. The next time I'm buying Rhodiola, I'm looking for one that is standardized to both rosavins and salidrosides.

Rhodiola rosea is known to be effective but I noticed something important here
This product fits the Wikipedia description of increasing energy and mental performance although its composition is unexpected (more on that below). It provides me a boost of positive energy but only slightly and not long-lasting. The studies don't show a notable nutritional benefit, but Wikipedia confirms that rhodiola rosea is also effective in treating clinical depression. A boost in energy and mental alertness would help battle depression but then I think much larger dosages would be needed. Suggested use per container is 2 tablets twice daily between meals. For me, the effect of the 2 tablets is good but doesn't last until the next meal, and as yet I haven't tried taking more than 4 per day. They claim this is a product to take in the morning and early afternoon since it might interfere with sleep (unless you work the third shift). Help for easing the high altitude sickness
I do a lot of high altitude hiking in the SoCal and Eastern Sierras. Every time I went to Mt. Whitney or other 14ners and 13ners, I have different levels of altitude sickness. After trying the Rhodiola Rosea, it helps my breathing a lot above 12000 feet, this is the elevation level I start to feel my breathing. The light headed feeling, can't catch up the breath and energy loss. It also helps my recovery from strenuous workouts and hiking, especially when I do 20+ miles dayhikes. Since it's pretty safe, I usually take double/triple dosage when doing strenuous high elevation hikes to make sure I can minimize the high altitude sickness. The herb is highly used in Tibet for the same high altitude sickness reason. Highly recommend to people that have discomfort at high elevation. The price went up to $22.26 ? I paid $16.31 per bottle just few weeks ago....... a 36.5% increase ? Seems like another other brand Solaray Super Rhodiola...

Well Gaia has a program called Meet you Herbs... You enter in your lot number and it will tell you where is was grown! My bottle was grown on Siberian Alps!! I could even see the techs that tested that lot for quality. I am and have always been happy with Gaia's quality and attention to detail. In a world where almost no one cares about anything except making money it's refreshing to see a company offer such great products and a reasonable price point! As for the herb its self for me it has been a God sent and I have started telling all my busy friends that Rhodiola Rosea is a must have.

Excellent results...
Dr. Patricia Gerbarg has been recommending Rhodiola Rosea for depression, lyme disease symptoms, and other problems, and after hearing her speak, I decided to give it a try. After two weeks, I began to notice a difference. I feel lighter, less stressed, and some of the aches and pains from former bouts with lyme disease have eased up. I will continue to use this. I would give it five stars, but I don't think I realize it's full potential yet, as I have only been on it for a month.
