Changed my (hair's) life!
If you have curly hair, you probably are always looking for a product that will work. I have whole cabinets full of products that didn't do what I expected. So, when I saw this product finally available on Amazon, I wanted to spread the word about Ouidad products for us curly-haired people. This is the only, and I mean ONLY, gel that has ever done what it said it would..and then some. It made my hair look great with little (no) effort. I'm not afraid of rain, beach weather, or other crazy-hair-making weather anymore! It totally works and it's light, not crunchy. Other products are all good..you can't go wrong. But, if you buy only one, this is it. I use this, the deep treatment, and the clear pomade.

A good gel for curly hair in high dew points, high humidity
I have type 3b/3c hair with high porosity. It is fine, but I have a lot of it and it frizzes terribly without product. I live in a humid climate (DC) and I need a gel that can really keep my hair looking nice. I first started using this gel in 2000, when I grew out a relaxer. It worked well for me, but always mixed with another gel to weigh my hair down a bit (I like to reduce curl, not enhance). I stopped using Climate Control in 2006, when I decided to do a Japanese treatment to straighten my hair. Beginning in 2009, I grew out the TR and finally cut off all my relaxed hair last month. So I'm a long time user of Ouidad Climate Control who went back to it due to a return to curly hair.Ouidad Climate Control helps my hair handle humidity. But I still get some frizz by the end of the day. I find that it isn't a good stand alone gel, as it doesn't give me the definition I like. great way to try these products
Does not contain the shampoo, but all their main curl maker products are in it. I LOVE the deep treatment conditioner for the hair and my hair didn't look frizzy anywhere after using it - for the first time in my life after drying my wavy hair while crunching. Hair will feel overly conditioned or even give you the impression that it may be too "greasy" after adding the products as they are recommended, but it is by following those directions, you will get fantastic results. If you don't wash your hair everyday like me, you can put it up in clips and clippys for the next day or 2. If your hair is oily for day 2-3 at the roots, I reccommend Klorane's shampooing sec extra-doux - a spray in "shampoo" for the roots. It is best for lighter hair, however, mine is a dark blonde with brown, white, and blonde and it turns out great once you scrub it into your scalp with your fingers - so it may do well with darker hair as well. GREAT product!!! You've got to try it!
I saw these products advertised on TV and I just had to try them, and let me tell you, they are great! I hardly ever write reviews, so it has to be a pretty awesome (or terrible) product for me to take the time to write! :-) I love the leave-in conditioner, it makes your hair so soft and smooth. The heat and humidity gel is great too, it controls almost all frizz. I have very thick LONG hair, and seriously, a quarter size of each product is enough for your entire head! I only use the styling products. I didn't see a need to buy the shampoo and conditioner after seeing how great my hair looked. And the best part is, you can actually touch your hair - it doesn't look or feel crunchy like it would with gel or hairspray! I would say that you probably will need to wash your hair every day because it can start to look a bit greasy the next day, but otherwise, these are amazing products, and I love what they do for people with curly hair!!

Awesome products for thick coarse wavy hair!
My hair has been curly all my life, but hard to do anything with - so I have had it cut short for most of my adult life. On a whim, I've let the back grow longer and it was curling beautifully. I've actually permed my hair in the past just to force the curls to do what I wanted. Well, if I had known about Ouidad products in the past, I would not have been so foolish. My hair looks FABULOUS with these products. I am using the following: moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, leave in conditioner, climate control and moisture lock. (Yes, I have dry hair! And live in Colorado - dry, dry, dry). I wash and condition (rinse) daily, add a pea size dollop of leave in conditioner, mix a dime size climate control and moisture lock in my hands and use my fingers to comb through my hair. Mush the top into shape and go. Once it's dry, I either leave it alone for high curl definition, or run my fingers through for a smooth, shiny, healthy curl-wave look. Curls....
I ordered the started package from Quidad to see if my newly curling hair would respond well to it. I had curly hair as a child but it's only since I have hit my 40's and grown my hair back out is it curly again. I have fine hair and lots of it so usually leave in products weigh my hair down....NOT this one, it's awsome - since the front of my hair is not curly I usually pull the front back with a clip and enjoy my long curly/wavy hair thanks to Quidad. As for the rest of the kit...well I cancelled my membership and will just get the leave in from Sephora.....and well lets leave it at that!

A must have for Curly Hair
I tried Botanical Boost based on a recommendation from my stylist and my hair looked georgeous! It looked healthy and shiny rather than dry and lifeless. It is a perfect leave-in conditioner to use straight out of the shower and throughout the day. Ouidad products are the best for curly hair.

Good for 2nd day hair
I bought this product after looking at the whole Ouidad line for months. I try not to wash my hair every day because it's so dry. The Botanical Boost was good for putting moisture back in my hair and reviving my curls on those in between days.

GREAT Product, BUT buy direct and SAVE ALOT
I started with these products for my daughter who has curly hair and they are outstanding. I have straight hair and the botanical boost is wonderful for my hair as well, you can use it through out the day and never get that "oily" look. It is THE BEST detangler I have found for my daughters hair and I have given away bottles to her classemates to try as well. I would have given it 5 stars except that on amazon it is 17.60 and not eligible for prime shipping so you pay shipping on top of that price. If you go directly to the quidad website it is 16.00 a bottle or less for a four pack, plus shipping so you save especially if you end up buying on a regular basis like I do. The entire kids line is great and the climate control items are wonderful as well. I use them for my husband. I also use the sunscreen hair products on us all. Nothing bad to say at all on this product line!!!!

Curls Out of Control!!
I have spent a lot of time and money trying to control my curly hair. As I have aged the wildness has gotten worse. I saw the ad for Quidad Curl Essentials and felt it was worth trying. I am so pleased with this product. It is light on hair where some products are so heavy you have to wash your hair each day to get the goo out. Not Quidad, I can use it once a day and wash my hair once a week. I bought the Starter Kit and will be ordering the larger bottles and using the starter kit for travel size with the great carrier case. Great, great product!

Really works for me!
I bought the travel kit to test out these products on my combination wavy, straight, sometimes curly, sometimes frizzy hair. Nothing seems to work for me, and I hate the stiff sticky look and feel. I've been using this for about a month now, and I finally feel like I have something that works. I spray the Botanical Boost on my wet hair, and no more frizz! I don't always use the gel, only if I am going to blow dry. Otherwise, it feels a bit stiff. I love the shampoo and conditioner, but as with everything else, I need to switch to a clarifying or moisturizing shampoo once every two weeks or so. I would recommend at least giving the small sizes a try. I'm buying a set for my daughter who keeps taking my botanical spray to use on her thick wavy hair. She loves it too!

amazing doesn't begin to cover it
My hair is colored and relaxed so it's severly damaged- i tried every product out there for wavy hair and nothing was really good, until i discovered Ouidad.The deep treatment is the best hair product of all time. Everytime I use it i'm astonished at how super soft, shiny, frizz-less and well defined my wavy hair is! I seem always to get compliments after I do my monthly treatment.The price is a little high but it's worth every single cent I promise.The key to using this product is to make sure after you heat it for a half hour to put another conditioner on top of it while it's cooling off, Ouidad's balancing rinse conditioner works excellent. I once tried it without another conditioner to cool off and results weren't as great.I love all the Ouidad products, but the deep treatment really aided in restoring the health of my hair and is by far my favorite.
