Best replaceable weatherstrip ever
I couldn't live without this product. The low density foam fills varying gaps, is soft enough that it doesn't interfere with proper closing of the door, and it's very inexpensive. The low density foam can crush down to almost nothing, but you'd be amazed at how much the narrowest strip of high density foam can interfere with proper closure. I just spent over 2 hours trying different sizes of the high density foam on one door, but it will not close properly so the deadbolt works, no matter how I try! Use your drill bits to find the biggest gap and buy the thinnest low density foam that will work. There is no need to "allow" for extra thickness to insure that the foam is compressed a little bit. As long as it touches, it will work. This open cell foam does degrade over time, but it lasts as long as the paint (in Florida). If you do need to replace the foam before you need to re-paint, the remaining adhesive can be removed with mineral spitits so it...

Great for PC fan filters
Comes as a big sheet, roughly 2ft x 2ft, and about 1cm thin. I cut it up and used it as filter material for my PC fan intakes, works great! For the price, you get way more quantity than purchasing "specialized for computer use" fan filter material.

couldn't live without it
I've been using this stuff for 32 years. The LOW density foam crushes down to practically nothing, when required, thus it doesn't interfere with closing the door properly (the deadbolt still works). Mineral spirits or alcohol remove the adhesive for repainting, and it is completely like new when you're done. Absolutely the best replacable door insulation I've ever seen, and it lasts as long as the paint job.

Worked perfectly
My law office has both a private and a public entrance. The weatherstrip had worn out around the private entrance door and as a result I had cold air leaking in during winters and hot air leaking in during summers. Bought this foam tape to cure the problem and it has worked perfectly. Would buy again if needed

i got this for my apartment's front door because i have a smelly neighbor and the smell comes into our apartment from the hallway. this item worked great!! it was easy to use (i had it up in 5 minutes) and blocks the smells from the hallway. it compresses nicely so that the door action isn't hampered. very happy with the product.

Sonic Barrier 1" Accoustic foam
Ordered this to use in a electronic drum isolation platform that we were building. I miscalculated when figuring out how much of it I needed, so I ended up ordering only half of what I needed. Fantastic Product for a quiet computer
I bought this to quiet down a loud home server located in a closet near my desk. I had previously purchased thinner sonic foam specifically marketed for the purpose, but didn't see much of a difference. This did the trick. I put a few squares in key places on the inside of the machine and it is much quieter now. Great product!
