the best i've used
We own a large leather sofa and matching arm-chair. Over the 10 years that we've owned these, we have used several leather cleaners and conditioners with the intention of keeping our furniture for many years to come.We chanced across this product recently and are extremely glad that we did. While we've been pleased with other products, this one easily surpasses them. Our leather now feels as soft and supple as when it was first purchased. This is the product we will continue to use moving forward.A side note to the manufaturer: I'm not sure what the active conditioning ingredient is in your product, but you should consider selling hand-moisturizer as well... after using this to treat our furniture, my hands never felt better.

I previously gave this product a negative review, but hey, I'm all for admitting when I'm wrong. ;)Long story short: What you use to apply the stuff makes a difference. If you're looking to clean worn and cracked leather-- as I was-- you need a nonabrasive scrubbing pad, not just a terry applicator like they pair with this item in the Amazon suggestions.I taped a little segment of my before-and-after results so you can see for yourself that it works. After I taped, I realized the manufacturer suggested putting the cleaner onto the pad and wiping down the surface first, not just dripping it directly onto the leather like I did. But it worked either way.It's not as thick as some other leather conditioners, but that's because the thickening agents reduce the cleaning ability.I'm very satisfied with the product and impressed by the customer service.

No elbow grease necessary
While I believe this product did a good job of cleaning my purse, it darkened the cognac color leather. My purse is not by any means ruined, but the results were disappointing. I've used thick leather conditioning crèmes in the past which softened the leather without discoloring it. The European Leather Restorer is a liquid, much easier to apply than the crèmes. Often a slight darkening adds richness, so I would recommend this product for pieces which would benefit by a deepened color. You cannot beat the ease of use, and it does clean and soften.

The ONLY Leather cleaner to use!
The Lexol pH cleaner worked extremely well to clean automotive leather upholstery and surfaces. Just follow the instructions on the bottle and it does a fantastic job. Always use the pH cleaner before you apply the Lexol conditioner since you don't want to apply new oils over existing dirt. The pH cleaner comes out as a clear liquid that is more viscous than water. I recommend using a terry cloth sponge to create more lather than just using a cotton cloth or terry cloth. I have tried several over the counter leather cleaner/conditioners and Lexol beats them all.Pros: Cleans leather without drying it. Very easy to use.Cons: The product is a bit expensive and hard to find compared to the over-the-counter products, but it should be the only product to buy and Amazon carries it!Overall: If you own any leather accessories or cars with leather interiors, Lexol pH cleaner and Lexol conditioner should be on your list.

Great Product
I had tried several "leather" cleaning products on my livingroom sofa, none of them worked very well. I remembered having used Lexol on my saddles and figured I'd give it a try. The Lexol worked great and I followed it up with the Lexol conditioner which also worked very well.

Lexol Cleaner is adjusted to the pH of leather, so it will not harm the finish or fibers of the leather. It rinses easily and quickly with water, leaving no residue or dulling film. Apply with either a damp Lexol Applicator Sponge or a damp soft cloth to work up a foam that lifts out the dirt. Rinse thoroughly with another clean, wet sponge or cloth. Once all traces of cleaner have been rinsed off, pat dry with a soft, 100% cotton towel. Lexol Really Works Great!!
My husband won't use anything other than Lexol Leather Cleaner, and the Lexol Conditioner, it's a great product, so he's stayed with it from it's inception, quite a number of years ago. He's very particular about keeping his leather in the best shape possible.He mentioned that it lasts a very long time, a little goes a long way. He's never had any problems with the condition or cleaner...and doesn't ever plan on changing!! Great product!!

Good general leather cleaner & conditioner
I specifically bought this product to remove blood on a leather jacket. For the most part it did a good job of cleaning the leather. It did not remove the blood as well as I hoped, but that may be due to the delay from the stain to purchasing the product. by the time I received the product, the blood had been on the jacket for a week. Otherwise, the product works well on leather furniture and other leather products for cleaning and for conditioning the leather to prevent drying.

Great Stuff
This stuff worked great for me. I had several large discolored spots (acetone - don't ask) on a much beloved leather chair. It was a different shade of brown and I was really afraid that it couldn't be matched. I was on the verge of sending the chair off to an upholstery shop when I saw this product and thought "what do I have to lose?" The product was easy to use. I did the matching like the instructions said and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. You can't tell the white spots were there at all. I highly recommend this product.

Repairs and recolors
This is a great kit. One, you can repair a scuff, tear, rip etc. in clear. Then you can "touch up" or recolor the damaged area. The kit comes with black, brown, blue, green, red, white and yellow. You can also Color Match by intermixing the colors. First box was bad, second one worked
The first box contained the color containers -- and were all hard and dried out. I contacted the seller and they sent replacements very fast, which contained good product. It applied well and now the spot blends in with the couch. Our kids put nail polish remover on the couch, so it removed all color. But this product put a lasting color back in and is doesn't rub off or peel or flake.
