Enjoy dairy products again!
I've used Lactaid for years, and as the years pass, the product keeps getting better and better. I used to have to take more of it for it to work, now I use one tablet just before eating the serving of dairy, and one tablet in the middle of eating the serving of dairy. It works great! One thing to be careful about though, is if you are as slow eater, you'll have to take more of it. When I eat a bagel with cream cheese for example, which takes more chewing than does ice cream which takes none, I end up using three tablets instead of two to be symptom free (e.g., one at the beginning, then I eat 1/3 bagel/cream cheese, take another, eat another 1/3, then take last pill for last 1/3 of bagel). Another great tip which I discovered.....when I began taking calcium supplements along with the Lactaid, it made my own symptoms disappear completely, so you might give that a try. My doctor says its probably because calcium supplements slow movement of the digestive tract. All in all,...

Can't live without it
I have become lactose intolerant for several years. I always avoid ice cream though I love it.. until I heard about Lactaid from a coworker. In my wallet I put one of these chewable tablets. Now before I eat ice cream I pop the Lactaid, which gives me 30 minutes to enjoy the ice cream. Nice. I have a hard time swallowing pills, so chewable tablet is perfect for me. I highly recommend this for anyone.

Great product - it works!
I've had lactose intolerance for years, but haven't had a problem with dairy in ages because of Lactaid Fast Act. It works more quickly than similar products, and it really DOES work. I've tried store brands, and they did work - but often I had to take 2 tablets instead of one to avoid problems. A couple important things to know - this isn't a drug at all, it's an enzyme, so it will not affect the average user in any way but their digestion of milk, cheese, ice cream, etc. Also, take the Lactaid before your first bit or drink of a dairy product, not after you've had it. If you have problems eating dairy, and don't want to give it up, this product is definitely the way to go.

LACTAID is very important to me
For about a year, I bought my LACTAID Fast Act from Costco, which offered it without tax (as it should be in Illinois,) or ship/hdlg. About two months ago they discontinued it in favor of their house brand, a brand which doesn't inspire the same level of confidence in me. ¶ So, on a whim I tried AMAZON, and lo and behold, AMAZON has it. I think they have outpriced the entire world by now. ¶ Due to health conditions which obviously include lactose intolerance, I consume a lot of this; perhaps 90 caplets lasts me three weeks, so this is an expensive purchase for me. The AMAZON price was better than the one I could have gotten even had I ordered directly from the Lactaid people. ¶ The shipment arrived a day sooner than I expected, which seems to be AMAZON's norm. My only gripe is that there is a 270-caplet 'bonus'-[bonus] size which is not covered by "Amazon Prime." ¶ None-the-less, my heroes are the folks at AMAZON ! I can eat dairy again!
I can eat dairy again! I got tired of only consuming soy based protein shakes and cheeses. I take 2 pills and I am able to consume a whey protein shake with hardly any heart burn/indigestion. This makes my life so much easier. I am glad that I tried this stuff. I'm excited to eat pizza again!

A Must if Lactose Intolerant or Might Be
These Lactaid tablets work well to prevent lactose intolerance induced disasters. The tablets are packaged in a way that is easy to carry around in your bag, pocket or other portable methods. I can finally enjoy foods with dairy again. I suggest taking one right before your first bite of foods with dairy and then having another in the middle of eating dairy if it is a good amount of food or you have been eating for a while. I'm very cautious so I like to be on the safe side I guess. The tablets are composed of lactase, a naturally made enzyme that people with lactose intolerance lack, so there shouldn't be any side effects to taking "too many" tablets. I would just use common sense and experiment with how many tablets to take when eating various dairy products.

They do a good job of preventing me from having any issues when eating dairy - so that I can enjoy an occasional ice cream or coffee with milk. I like the individual wrapped pills because I can keep a few in my wallet and a few in my car, so I have them whenever I need them.

I've used Lactaid for years
I am slightly lactose intolerant. I can eat cheese & ice cream without a problem, but a milkshake & as little as 3 ounces of milk will cause problems for me.....and those close by. I've been using Lactaid for several years & like the convenience of the individually packaged tablets. I tried a generic brand once and will never use generic again. I chew one tablet then drink a glass of milk or have a bowl of cereal with milk. Lactaid works for me & my children, who both became lactose intolerant in their 20's. Lactaid used to be sold in liquid/drop form. I could treat a whole gallon of milk with a few drops. It was much more economical than the tablets, I don't drink much milk so the convenience of the tablets worked for me. Since my daughter recently became lactose intolerant, I'm online searching for Lactaid in liquid/drop form. I don't think they produce it now; they sell lactose free products now. With as much milk as my daughter drinks, I'm going to have to try a different brand...

Works great
I'm mildly lactose-intolerant and regular dairy products would upset my stomach. Now I can drink normal milk again and don't notice a thing! These have the same ingredient as Lactaid brand so don't bother spending more money on the name brand.

works great for me
I'm lucky, these are "cheap" and work great for me; I eat a lot of dairy! I usually eat between one and three with my first bites of dairy, occasionally I've made a mistake and taken after, never have had a problem, knock on wood - funny thing, I live on a dairy farm, and I can drink our raw milk just fine. I need lactaid to eat our aged cheeses and pasteurized milk. I have not tried raw milk ice cream, and our yogurt is fine for me, all yogurt is fine for me ... I'm delighted I can buy this through Amazon, hard to get locally ...
