Tastes good and good for you
When a cereal's description contains a term like "fiber twigs" you might be tempted to throw the box down and run away. In the case of Kashi GOLEAN, that would be a mistake. In an effort to eat a healthier diet, I decided to try this cereal because I was impressed by its nutritional content. What the heck, I figured, if it doesn't taste good I don't have to buy it again. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried GOLEAN and it tasted great! I was also happy at how satisfied I felt after finishing a bowl; it was filling and nutritious and gave me plenty of energy to get through the morning. It's gently sweet without tasting "sugary", and I like the crunchy texture. Kashi GOLEAN Crunch is also available (and tasty!) if you like your breakfast EXTRA crunchy.

Very good, very crunchy cereal
I've had Kashi cereals in the past and this was certainly the crunchiest of them all. Kashi managed to perfectly sweeten this cereal just the way I like and I found this cereal to be extremely filling. When I eat other brands as a meal I normally feel like I need to eat two bowls, but with Kashi GOLEAN Crunch! I was very satisfied with less than a bowlful. I find this cereal is best when I let it sit in the bowl of milk for about 5 minutes before eating it to soften the crunchiness a bit. The grains were full size and easily identifiable in each cluster. This cereal is a life saver!
I had to start eating more healthy and after years of eating poorly, it's just not easy to change. I had to learn to add more protein and fiber into my diet but watch the calories and fat. So bacon and sausage for protein at breakfast was totally off the table. Finding a GOOD tasting cereal that gave a significant amount of protein wasn't easy. Then add to that one with good fiber content too! And lets not forget the most important fact....I had to like it! Eating healthy is NOT easy! You need to do your research! I finally found Kashi Go Lean, Honey Almond after 6 months. At the store near me, they don't keep it in the cereal section so I just happened to see it off in the corner one day and gave it a look. I thought I was going to HATE it so it sat in the cabinet for a couple of weeks.....but was I surprised when I finally had some! It has the right amount of sweet and a one cup portion is so filling! I'm fulfilling my protein and fiber requirements and it doesn't even have to hurt... Top to learn more

Great Taste From Simple Ingredients
Kashi Organic Promise Cinnamon Harvest is a great example of how simple ingredients can deliver great taste. It has three basic organic ingredients: wheat, evaporated cane juice, and cinnamon. I am impressed by the amount of flavor that this cereal has. It is not a knock you over the head in your face and overly powerful experience. However if you are looking at a cereal like this, you likely have different priorities to begin with. Cinnamon Harvest is a fairly dense cereal with a one cup serving coming in at 190 calories - more than 50% more than a lighter cereal such as Kashi Organic Promise Strawberry Fields. On the flip side, I find a serving of Cinnamon Harvest stays with me longer than Strawberry Fields does. It really depends on what you are looking for, and the tastes between the two are completely different as well. Like most "wheat biscuit" type cereals Cinnamon Harvest holds up well in milk although I have found this to be true of most Kashi... Top to learn more

Good Eatin'
Being a bit of a fitness-nut, I'm reluctant to purchase almost any mass produced cereals. With very few exceptions, there's an over abundance of sugar, sodium and in some cases, fats, in a majority of breakfast cereals. Although Kashi's Cinnamon Harvest does have a dose of sugar at 9 grams/serving, for me, it's an acceptable amount. Whole grain, great taste and good for ya too... it's a deal. Top to learn more

The title pretty much sums it up. :) Not too sweet, and just absolutely delicious. Every time I have a different cereal, I wish I was eating this instead. Delish, BUT ...
I've seen this cereal in Wal-Mart several times but kept passing it up for Kashi's Honey Toasted Oat, a healthier version of Cheerios, but I decide to buy it today based on the great reviews I've read and this cereal is absolutely delicious. I WAS going to buy the pack but it's WAY more cost effective to buy from the grocery store, Wal-Mart in particular. There it's being sold for 2.82 and depending on where I purchase it, county-wise, I only pay 6 or 7 percent tax. So you figure 2.82 * 6 = 16.92 * 7% = 18.10. Sorry Amazon, Wal-Mart though they are terrible in their business practices, they have you beat on this. Top to learn more

Finally a "healthy" cereal with some TASTE!
I know that Kashi makes an assortment of "good for you" cereals but, quite frankly, I just can't bring myself to eat many of them regularly because they taste like tree bark IMO. And Kashi foods in general *are* healthy but not recommended for someone trying to lose weight due to high amounts of fat, calorie, and carbs. For a VERY long time I've been trying to fine a cereal that A) tastes good, B) is low-fat, and C) has a good ratio of carbs-to-fiber-to protein. TRUST ME - this is more difficult than you would imagine because usually the *really good-for-you* cereals (health-wise) taste terrible but Kashi's black currant & walnut cereal is a WINNER for me!!!!! EVEN MY DOG likes the teeny little oat clusters - LOL! First of all - I LOOOOVE the currants! The sweetened flakes are a wonderful balance to the tart currants and the walnuts and oat clusters add a nice crunch.
