great new shoes
I got these shoes last week and i absolutely love them. I would have to say they are the best, most comfortable pair of dress shoes that i have ever owned. They are very light on your feet, yet have plenty of cushion when you walk. I would highly recommend them!

most comfortable business/casual shoes for the money!
I bought these shoes from a DSW shoes shop for $59.99 and they are the best shoes for comfort while still keeping great style. I've been through the usual places(Macy's, JCPenny, Dillards, Clark's-basically all of the shoes store at the nearest mall)looking for more professional-looking shoes to go with the new job, and though they looked very nice, they were so damn uncomfortable. Perhaps if I were at a desk all day and sitting down the nice-looking/uncomfortable shoes would be more bearable, but for the person who walks around and is for the most part on their feet during work, these hush puppies are magnificent in the comfort level they offer, while still looking professional. Straight from the box these shoes were "broken in" and contoured to my feet as is I had been wearing them for a year(or perhaps years). Look no further, get these shoes. Sturdy, runs a bit wide
These seemed well made and confortable, but I had to return them as the EW was a bit too loose- with other brands EW usually fits perfectly. They also are not very stylish- they look big and bulky. I was going to get them for traveling, but after returning, bought another Hush Puppy slip-on style that was cut a bit more fitted, but just as comfortable. Again, they were quality made and don't really have any negatives, but there are more stylish Hush Puppies available.

Shoe comfort...
Since I purchased these "Chukka's" I have been VERY pleased with the comfort & their "lightness" feeeling on my feet. These remind me of the Hush Puppies I wore in High School back in the sixties. The well constructed soles make the difference in support & the eventual longevity of the boot itself. The suade boot is sooo soft & easy to clean. Looks great!!! These boots are now my favorite for "kick-around" with my jeans.I placed some orthotics in for support as well. Highly recommend! Thank you Hush Puppies for maintaining the standard that I knew you put forth back in the day.

These Shoes Are True to Size
The other reviewer here wrote their review only a few months ago, so I have a hard time believing that the company revamped their sizing system in the time since, so I don't know what happened... I received my Hush Puppies "Imperial" Mary Jane shoes in the mail today, and I am already absolutely in love with them despite some size issues! I generally wear a size 7.5 shoe but, taking the other reviewer's comments into consideration, I ordered these Mary Janes in a 7. I honestly think I would be more suited to a 7.5, because although I do fit these shoes, they are a tad snug. Being leather, though, I assume that with time they will stretch a bit; and I'm not going to return them and order a half-size larger because I purchased them specifically for an event I will be attending soon, and I don't think I have enough time to deal with all that packing-and-shipping-and-waiting rigmarole, and receive the new shoes in time. Great Shoe - On the large side
These Hush Puppies are probably the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I am usually a size 9.5 - 10 and have a wide foot so I originally bought a size 10W which I found were way too big. I returned them with no problems and re-ordered a size 9W which again were way too big. I would suggest to those considering purchasing these shoes to select a size smaller than they usually wear as I believe they are a large make, especially in a wide fitting.All in all, I love these shoes and find them to be really comfortable with lots of padding and a perfect heel height.

mall walker
I started wearing the Hush Puppies Mall Walker for work, close to 10 years ago.I'm on my feet 9-10 hours a day, 5 days a week and after years of sore feet and shoes not lasting more than six months at most, I stumbled upon the Mall Walker.This shoe is super comfortable right out of the box. There is no break in period while the shoe forms to your foot. The welt is sewn which is a necessity for me.Because I'm on my feet so much, they sweat a lot and the glued shoes break down in just a few months.The soles offer great traction and cushion and always last me at least a full year. Considering the miles I put on them, I can't ask for more.In addition, they are fairly stylish and look respectable with dress pants, shirt and tie and a breeze to keep shined. Don't ever stop making these! Well, until I can retire anyway.

Comfortable but a bit large
These shoes are exceptionally comfortable I have put about 12-15 miles in city walking on them, with no discomfort at all. Mine are size 8-1/2, and I normally wear size 9. But these are more like a 9-1/2 (one size larger than stated). Conversely, I bought a pair of size 8 for my dad. He usually wears 8 to 8-1/2, and his are a bit smaller than stated. So size may not be exactly what you expect.

A Pleasure to wear
Since I graduated college (oh so long ago), I thought that uncomfortable shoes were as much a part of business life as neckties. Imagine my delight when I slipped on a pair of shoes with the comfort of a pair of sneakers, yet with a business look. Now you know why I have become a life-long fan of Hush Puppy shoes.I currently live in Japan, and need to remove my shoes when I enter any houses, so not having laces is a definite must for me. The elastic on this model is strong enough to keep its shape and hold the shoe firmly on my foot without being too tight. I love the thick-padded edges that are soft against my ankle instead of chafing. The bottoms have sneaker-like traction and comfort, making them easy to walk in without slipping on wet/flat surfaces. Comfortable and Professional
These shoes are fantastically comfortable. I describe them to my friends as "leather slippers" because they don't have the usual pinching or pressure that many men's dress shoes exhibit.For a medical professional where standing, walking, and looking professional must meld together - these are hard to beat.They have a sturdy yet comfortable sole, breathe well, and look professional.
