THIS STUFF IS AWESOME!!!
First...I'm not a 'review' guy. It's got to be GREAT for me to spend the time to review a product. I have a Stihl 021 chain saw that gets used once or twice a year. Usually my gas goes bad within 6 months, so I've gotten in the habit to run the saw dry after I use it and put fresh gas in it when I take it out again. This last week I put new gas in it...no start. Thought I may have gotten bad gas, so I disposed of it and got new gas from a different station...no start. Rebuilt the carb, cleaned the spark coil, checked for good spark, ect. (3 hours of B.S.!) I thought I was gonna have to give up and take the saw into a pro to get it running. Then I was at the Depot and found this stuff and thought what the heck, I'll try one last thing. Started on the second pull!!! I will NEVER run any other fuel through this saw! It doesn't cost any more than having to go through all the B.S. of fetching and mixing all the stuff yourself (and replacing it every 6 months). It also saves you from going...

Just what i've been looking for!!
Recently purchased a new string trimmer and saw this product in the store at the same time. Thought that I would give one can a try and all I can say is AMAZING. In the past with my old trimmer I would buy gas (making sure that it was the right amount) and buy the 50:1 oil and mix and hope for the best. Usually the trimmer would run ok but it never seemed to run that smooth. I would almost always have some smoke and when done my clothes would always have that gas/oil smell.Today I trimmed for about 30 minutes with my new trimmer and TruFuel and the trimmer ran flawlessly and no gas/oil smell on my clothes and no smoking. Judging by how much TruFuel my trimmer used I would guess that maybe I would use one can per season.It might be a bit pricey but you're getting high octane fuel (with no ethanol), 2 stroke oil and fuel stabilizer all mixed perfectly at 50:1.I will never mix my own gas/oil again. TruFuel is the only product that I will be using...

Amazing
I have a trimmer and I guess I put old fuel in it. It ran rough and smoked a lot last fall. Earlier this year I tried to use it and it would not start at all. I thought I needed another one. I took a chance on Trufuel knowing I could return it if it did not work. I completely clean the tank, and primer bulb. Added Trufuel and primed. Amazingly, my trimmer started with only three pulls in full choke. I spent probably an hour on that trimmer and it would not do anything prior to Trufuel. This is my product now. I will not go back to mixing gas and oil. This was about $5 for a quart which should get me through the summer. Mixing a gallon is a waste for me. I do not run the trimmer that often.

Where Can I buy Gas Without Ethanol

You can replace any wear parts in the fuel system or engine with parts designed for gas with ethanol in it. One problem with this is that parts designed to use ethanol may not currently exist for cars like an older Porsche, so you may opt to just... Boaters have been very successful in keeping ethanol out of their gas, so most locations designed for filling up boats will not have any ethanol in the gas. Beyond this, if a car is not ran very often (for example a car that is mainly driven on the weekends) the ethanol can cause condensation to form in the gas tank and we all know water in your gas is never a good thing. If you live near water and are not able to get ethanol free gasoline at any local gas stations, you may be able to get it at a local marina gas location. Some states (such as California, where I live) do not require any notice that Gasoline contains ethanol (because of this most stations in the state do contain ethanol). These additives will help reduce the wear of components not designed for ethanol (Sta-Bil makes a very good ethanol treatment that I have used and it appears to have worked well). You can find a list of states that require ethanol labeling here (this site sells an ethanol tester, but I have never used it or bought from the site, so I can’t recommend this tester). Manufactures of various automobiles have come out saying that cars older than 2001 should not use the 15% ethanol gasoline blend (with some voiding any warranties on the car if the 15% blend is used on even some cars newer than 2001). If you live in a state that doesn’t require notice, you can purchase a testing system that will let you know if your gas does contain ethanol (I haven’t used any of these personally, so can’t recommend one).

“If consumers treat gasoline and ethanol as perfect substitutes, only buying the fuel that gives them the lowest fuel cost per mile, then fuel retailers will need to price ethanol at or below the price of gasoline for consumers to buy ethanol,” he... Previous analysis assumed consumers viewed the two fuels in the same way, with ethanol and gasoline considered perfect substitutes after adjusting for the lower gas mileage of ethanol. “This reduces substantially the simulated efficiency cost of an ethanol content standard, since some households choose ethanol without large subsidies, mitigating deadweight losses,” he says, adding that mandating ethanol blending is expensive. This means, he adds, that producers will lose money in an attempt to comply with the renewable fuel standard (RFS)—unless cellulosic ethanol is subsidized or consumers are willing to pay a premium for the fuel. Anderson developed a model based on information gathered in Minnesota from 1997 to 2006, during which nearly 5,000 monthly observations of ethanol prices and sales volumes were made at more than 200 retail gas stations. Ethanol industry supporters, on the other hand, point to the role of the RFS in moderating gasoline prices, reducing imports of foreign oil and supporting growth of the advanced and cellulosic biofuels sectors. They pointed to a Center for Agriculture and Rural Development study that found that in the decade from 2000 to 2010, ethanol reduced gasoline prices an average of 25 cents per gallon, saving consumers $34 billion yearly. Soren Anderson, a Michigan State University economist, calculated that when ethanol increased 10 cents per gallon above the price of gasoline, there was only a 12 to 16 percent decrease in demand.

If you live there, you’ve been running ethanol or MTBE since the mid 90′s. All makes of vehicles since the mid 90′s have been able to run ethanol fuels without problem. I have driven 3 cars over 100,000 miles each on ethanol added gasoline and never had a fuel related issue with any of them. Ethanol is the oxygenate of choice, now that the gov’t has removed protections from using MTBE, which has a bad habit of contaminating groundwater. Ethanol is a good additive for gasoline.

Florida senators Wednesday moved toward eliminating a 2008 law that requires gasoline to include ethanol, amid concerns that the biofuel causes problems in boats, lawn mowers and old cars. With the federal requirements in place, Evers said repealing the state law would not hurt companies that produce ethanol in Florida. He said Florida is such a large market that the industry could not meet its requirements without selling ethanol-blended gasoline in the state. But Evers said repealing the law would increase the ability of retailers to sell gasoline without ethanol and allow “supply and demand” to play a bigger role. They argued that motorists should have the freedom to buy gasoline without ethanol. Greg Evers, R-Baker, said repealing the state law would allow retailers to offer fuel without ethanol — if they can get it from suppliers. Ethanol production is subsidized by the government and cost more than gas. Ethanol has far less BTUs per volume than gas. The state law already includes some exemptions from the ethanol requirements, such as for gasoline used in aircraft and boats. That is because federal law also includes ethanol requirements, though it doesn’t set specific standards for Florida. Jerry Paul, a former House member who lobbies for Southeast Renewable Fuels LLC, said the firm is developing ethanol production that would use sweet sorghum grown in Florida.
