Deep Space Nine is the perfect answer to those lingering questions left by many different episodes of The Next Generation. No, not all our questions are answered, but let's accept the fact that the human imagination is capable of so many iterations of future reality that not all are possible to portray in one show. I think that the Star Trek creators were testing Trekkie's taste for new adventures that did not fall completely in line with the Enterprise model we've become accustomed. Take a chance on Deep Space and watch how some really horrible episodes give way to episodes with epic space battles that will fuel your imagination for years to come. That is the point isn't it... So watch Deep Space Nine and keep in mind that it is a Transition for the future of the Star Trek universe that eventually bolsters the credibility of the newer stories within Voyager and Enterprise and then finally the oh-so-amazing, most recent Star Trek movie...without Deep Space Nine, none...

Nice upgrade from the original iPhone 4 Defender case
I used the original Otterbox Defender case for my iPhone 4s, and while it worked ok, this version is a definite improvement. The hard plastic case and the screen protector seem to be the same as the original, other than having larger cut outs for the camera/flash and the front camera/light sensor/proximity sensor area. I never had issues using the 4s camera with the older version case, but I did with the proximity sensor and this case fixes that issue.The holster has been changed to update the release mechanism. The tab that holds the phone in the holster has been shaped differently in order to make the phone easier to clip in and release.The biggest upgrade is to the rubber jacket that fits over the plastic case. The rubber seems to be of much higher quality. It has a firmer, more substantial feel, and doesn't seem like it will lose shape over time. I wish there was something a little better
This box is fairly good overall but it has a couple major irratating factors that may well be a buying point for many of you so I wanted to talk about a couple things that don't get mentioned very often.+ Great Protection and pretty much the best case if you want ideal protection for your iphone 4s from drops on the concrete / outdoor working environment. That's why i got it.- The screen cover is a thin layer of plastic that when sitting on top of the iphone creates a 'film' illusion where if you have good vision you will see a hazy layer. I think it's because there is a small space between the case's layer of plastic and the iphone's face that bends the light. Its quite annoying to me. I would prefer no plastic at all on the screen front and use a stick on clear protector over the iphone face.- The headphone jack is closed by a plastic piece that lifts up but it's annoying to have to fiddle with it to put in headphones.- The case...

Very Sturdy and Excellent Accessibility to Buttons and Screen
Ordered this product directly from Otterbox.com, and it took 12 days to arrive--not sure if that's because of a case modification/upgrade around the time I ordered the case.The case arrived with instructions on the inside of the box, which were NOT very easy to follow. The box suggests going to Otterbox.com to view the instructional video. I didn't view the video and it took me at least 20 minutes to figure out how to open the case and properly insert my phone into it. Make sure to watch the online video.Access to all of the buttons and screen is excellent, though there is a flap you have to lift to access the headphone jack. Fantastic case, even better value
I'm about as happy as I could be with the Impact case. Carrying around a slippery, glass-fronted device, I was primarily looking for a case that would provide good energy dissipation in the inevitable event that I drop-kick it across a room when fumbling for keys. As such, an unyielding hardshell case just wasn't ideal. The fitment, bracing, and silicone material of the Impact are a well-thought-out means of limiting shock intensity (although I thankfully haven't tested it to any considerable extent). The Impact fits the phone snugly, provides a good textured grip for the hand, and doesn't drown out the mic and earpiece like poorly-fitted units. All slides and buttons are easily accessible - perhaps even more so than without case since my hand isn't slipping all over the glossy shell. Stoked!!
I work for the Fire Department and was looking for a rugged case that could stand up to the abuse I was expecting to put it through. After purchasing this product, I am confident my phone is fully protected from the elements. I will say, it does make the product a little bulky, I tend to put my phone in my pocket and not wear it on a belt clip. It's bulky but doable. It was a good purchase and I'm glad I bought it. One thing I will mention about it, is that it didn't come with instructions on how to put it in the case, and it literally took me about 15mins. to figure it out. Also, after market car charges and docking stations will not work with this case because the connection is too deep in the case. Knowing those two things, I would still buy it.

First of all, if you want to protect your iPhone, this is a terrific case. If you want sleek and flashy, keep looking. Don't get me wrong, I like the way the phone looks with the Otterbox on it but there just are not any sequins or monograms. This is really two cases in one, or, a case with a rubberized cover. When you open the package, you will notice a plastic "clam shell" case that you snap over the phone. The second part of the case is the rubberized cover which wraps around the phone. The negative BUT NECESSARY results about this case is that it will double the thickness of the phone and make it heavier. This case includes a shield that protects the screen so no need to buy those expensive screen protectors. The only exposed area of the phone are the holes for the speakers, microphones, and camera lens. Best iPhone Case: Defender or Commuter?
Protecting a $200 phone is quite a formidable task and a lot of cell phone case companies do not seem to understand protection. They strive for style, design, and aesthetics. To me, this is all nonsense. Otterbox understands the principle of protection better than any other company making these types of products. Fuction is what I am looking for and and this company produces fuctioning cell phone cases. These 4S generation cases share an improved design, mainly with the camera area. I think people were complaining about shadowed pictures and video due to the tight camera cut out. They widened it to ensure the new 8MP camera with not be hindered by a design flaw. First, the defender technically provides more protection than the commuter and also comes with a handy holster with a clip. Perfect case for me.
Got a new 4s and originally bought the Defender Series Case. While that is a great case, it just wasn't the type for me. The Commuter case is. Still feels like you are holding an iPhone in your hand. All the buttons still work great, and the headphone and charger cover fit and stay snug until you are ready to use it. That was one of the issues that I had with my defender case. The covers wouldn't stay in place all the time and kept coming out. Overall, I highly recommend this case.

Last year when I bought my iPhone 4, I found a nice Griffin Reveal Etch case for it that has been on my phone since. It's got black silicone sides and a carbon-fiber-looking hard back. I liked the hard back to protect my back glass. Over the year+ that I've had the Griffin case, the silicone sides have lost their grip and the case was getting real loose on my phone. So I went looking for a new case, since the Griffin Reveal Etch is no longer available.My friends all have Otterbox Defenders, and I know it protects the phone but I don't go for the 'commando look' personally, and it's just too big and bulky for me, and I'd never wear my phone on my belt. Last week I bought an Otterbox Commuter for iPhone 4 at Best Buy, and it seemed to be a pretty good compromise. Then I noticed that the camera and flash surround had two small holes for each of those devices, and on my sample the holes in the hard case just didn't line up with my camera lens and flash very well.
