Great Sustained Energy
I am pretty much a sceptic of so-called energy drinks. Most of them give you a quick buzz, then let you down just as hard. But, that being said, I am a cyclist, so I decided to give this a try since Lance has his hand in the company.I love it. I love it. What I especially love is the fact that it is a gradual release. You don't get that horribly jumpy I-gotta-run-around-the-block feeling. I drink it about 30 minutes before my ride, which is usually 20 to 30 miles, and about a third of the way into the ride it kicks in. I don't get a rush, just a feeling that I can keep going and push a little harder. The energy really does seem to last for a few hours without a horrible crash at the end.Taste is not bad, not great, but certainly drinkable. I got the orange powder. Helps with Endurance minus jittery feeling
I really liked the idea of taking an energy drink that didn't make you jittery or give you that sick feeling. I, for one, am sick and tired of taking fat burner pills that make me feel like I want to vomit an hour after I take them. I can say that I have noticed a marked improvement in my daily energy level from taking this product. As a clinician and human performance consultant, I am always interested with advances in sports medicine which includes taking another look at previous studies. The "main" ingredient of FRS is quercetin. This is typically found in grapes, apple skins, and onions. While it's good to get your nutrients from natural sources like these, while you're on the move, using sports science supplements can be better.The quercetin in FRS is Q995. After looking this up, I eventually landed on the DARPA site. Our DoD funds advanced research focused on optimizing our military needs, which includes nutritional support. Gave me headaches
I wanted to try these chews because I am frequently working odd hours and it plays heck with getting to sleep sometimes. That makes me tired and dragged out the next day when I need to be alert and on the ball.So, that is what I was looking for - sustained energy to keep me awake and alert. Physically, I am in fair shape I think and I am in my early 40s. I do some physical stuff at my job but there is a lot of sedentary stuff too.The recommended dosage is two chews. I found that two chews gave me a pretty intense headache within a short amount of time - 30 to 45 minutes maybe.Cutting back to one chew still gave me a headache but not as intense.Energy levels were good, even great, and even better I didn't feel jittery. I did feel like I was 'zooming' a bit when they first kick in but it was a mild sensation and not long lived (good thing). The boost seemed to last 4 to 5 hours with two chews and maybe 3 or so with one chew... Top to learn more

A Better Energy Drink
I have tried several energy drinks and this product is at the top of my list. Many others contain lots of sugar and caffeine but FRS works in a different way with quercetin, vitamins and only 25 calories. I usually will drink 1 can at mid morning to get a renewed lift. It's not going to be so noticeable like a caffeine buzz or sugar high but the day goes by better with it than without. I must say that Amazon seems to be the best place to buy FRS and save money. FRS is great, but why the price hike?
I'm a runner, work a 9:00 - 5:00 as well as go to school in the evenings and before FRS I was taking 5 Hour Energy right before a run. It worked well enough but it tastes like drinking the little soap bottles used for making bubbles. Luckily it's a shot and it served it's purpose. 5 Hour Energy for me made me feel almost too wired and I noticed an elevated heart rate that made me a bit nervous.I chose FRS as an alternative because the price difference was about the same at the time, but I was wary after reading reviews that it simply didn't work and that it came in so many different forms, which was right for me. The can seemed to be the best, I could drink it before I head out to work, or before a run and get a little push to keep me active.For me, there wasn't any noticeable "buzz" or need to bounce off the walls, it just keeps me alert, awake, and motivated to keep going. I love this product. The low calorie, peach mango is the best of all the FRS products...I've tried them all. I am a breast cancer survivor and have consist fatiguedue to all the medications I am required to take. I am also a police officer. It's not a good mix. Good Tasting Energy Drink
This is my favorite flavor and i have this drink at least twice a day. Although the product contains a little caffeine, it has helped me cut down on the number of cups of coffee i drink daily. i take one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Best tasting protein drink I've ever had
I got this at the gym today on a whim. I wanted to make up for a missed meal and it seemed like a nice alternative to the usual milky consistency type protein drinks you see at gyms that are always geared towards guys. I'm not a serious power lifter and didn't really need a hard core drink to make up for lost energy. It was delicious. Seriously. Of course it had a protein/grainy taste to it, but honestly it tasted like I was drinking a orange julius from the mall with a protein shot added to it. I have lap band, so protein shakes are a go-to item for me. I bought this originally at a supermarket, unsure of how it would taste, but I was pleasantly surprised. The orange cream has a taste of fresh squeezed orange juice but it isn't overly sweet like many protein shakes.
