I can smile again!
These teeth aren't toys. They are a perfect alternative for a nice looking smile for people who have teeth problems.These teeth are wonderful! Very easy to use and fit. You will have to spend a little bit of time working with them to get the perfect fit for your own mouth, but when you get it right you will know it by the feel. The teeth and thermal beads are easily reheated over and over till you get the perfect fit with no problems at all. Make sure the water is hot enough. Follow the easy instructions and you should be very happy with these, especially if you have teeth problems. The more you wear them the more comfortable they become. It's just getting use to them.My teeth and mouth are quite small so I had to actually file and sand these teeth down a bit to get a comfortable fit for myself. That was very easy to do with a couple of artist files and 400 grit sandpaper. You could probably use a fingernail file too. I made them a bit thinner also...

Fantastic Product!
Absolutely wonderful product! Fitting was very easy. Unlike the Imako (which I think is horrible and was a total waste of my money) the Secure Smile is made from dental acrylic, so you must first heat the teeth and form to the curve of your own teeth, then apply the melted thermoplastic and do the final fit. Water MUST be heated just to the point of boing or you will not get proper melt and adhesion. Once fitted these teeth look great! Far more realistic than the Imako. Definitely much more attention to detail tooth shape and gum color, most likely because they were actually designed by a dentist. The acrylic doesn't stain like the soft Imako material, and even thought you're not really supposed to, I have eaten with the Secure Smile in place when a client asked me to lunch. I would never even consider it with the Imako. It is upsetting to see this product listed as a toy. I think the Secure Smile teeth are a serious product that can change your life, while the Imako definitely looks...

This product is amazing, and has given me a great deal to smile about
First off I want to say that I am a real person - not a paid actor or tied with this company in any way shape or form even though it may sound like it in my review.This product is awesome. And I will tell you why.I suffer from bone loss in my jaw/teeth, it is a hereditary condition. I also suffer with bad gums due to this condition. When one of my teeth starts to get loose I know its only a matter of time before the gums start to recede and reject.I started losing teeth within the past 4 years, there is nothing that the doctors or dentists can do about it besides evasive surgery and false implants. I refuse to go this route while I have some teeth left to anchor something in place.By happen-chance after losing two of my front teeth (showing my obvious condition) I stumbled onto IMAKO teeth - and gave it a try.. Can Smile again
I've always been embarrassed to smile. First I have a low gum line... I wanted to have my gum line lifted, but I was told it would be too painful because I have mostly bone under my gums and they wouldn't be able to take that much off anyway. I also went through braces... the extreme pain of the tightening, my lips would be cut up during the process, and it didn't even help. My teeth went right back once all the treatments were done. Worse, I was in a car accident that pushed some teeth in. They also discolored after all of the work I had done to them. I wanted veneers, but they told me it would be over $10,000 and I'd have to get braces (again) first. That option was out for many reasons.I heard of snap on teeth, but my dentist said he didn't deal in them. besides, why spend $1,200 when I could get the same effect from novelty teeth? A cosmetic shell that serves its purpose as advertized
I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews for this product. Surely people do not expect to buy a perfect set of upper teeth for $40!I recently had to lose a near front tooth and the gap is VERY noticeable. I searched online for a cheap and temporary solution, and found the Imako shell. I didn't realize I could purchase them even cheaper at Amazon, or I would have.The Imako shell is what it claims to be, and looks exactly like the photo which shows the shell between the before and after smile. Yes, the teeth are fused together, and yes, they look like false teeth, but not so different from dentures. The "natural" one, which I ordered, has a slight yellowish hue, and I'm guessing the "bleached" option mentioned at Dr. Bukk's website is more white.I spent some time at Dr. Bukk's website, where there is a video which shows how to prepare the set to fit your mouth, as well as a printable image so you can be sure to get the size that is the closest fit. Great quick fix!
Don't get your hopes up if you think you can use these as a permanent fix. I bought them realizing that only a dentist could truly fix and repair my issues and am very happy with my purchase knowing that. They are extremely easy to fit if you go into the process with a little time and patience. I followed the directions, used a little common sense, cut it into a 'partial' and even used the extra beads to build it up. Had I tried to use the entire set to cover up all my teeth they may have been too fake looking, but then again I was comparing them to my natural front teeth.All in all it took about half an hour, made a great, inexpensive cover up for a missing tooth so I could attend a function without being embarrassed.I am very pleased with the purchase. If you read the directions all the way through then follow them, don't expect to eat with them(just like it says on the package)and realize they are $40 temporary cover up teeth and don't expect the same results as $5000...

I will NEVER go without them now!!
I cannot say enough about Secure Smile. All of my upper teeth have been destroyed due to medications I had to take when I was younger. I have been embarrassed to smile for about 10 years now. These worked perfectly with an extra set of fitting beads. I will not go without them ever again.Anyone who says they didn't fit, looked fake and way too big probably got the Medium to Large size which they do not offer anymore on the Secure Smile site due to them being way too big for even the male customers. They only offer the Small to Medium size now and call them "One Size Fits All". They really do fit and look awesome. I cannot stop smiling. I never take them out except to clean them. I can eat, drink cold drinks and smoke with them with absolutely no problems, no slipping and no staining at all. I am even ordering a back up set for myself. Don't get the Medium to Large set. Get the One Size Fits All which is the Small to Medium and you will love them!!

Fantastic Product!
IMPORTANT!!! THE CURRENT PRODUCTS BEING SOLD AS "SECURE SMILE" ARE ACTUALLY THE NEW "INSTANT SMILE", NOT SECURE SMILE! THEY HAVE A SHELF ALONG THE BACK. I do not like the new product as the shelf just doesn't work well. It makes the teeth stick out way too far and you can't close your mouth completely or talk well.The shelf can be cut off if you boil to soften the plastic and nip it off with hobby cutters. If you are not able or willing to to some modifications, go to the internet and get the real Secure Smile Teeth. I still love the Secure Smile product and use it every day.

Awful products
The molding that came with the teeth wouldn't stick to the plastic teeth very long. The always ended up coming off and my real teeth would be covered with the molding plastic, and the teeth would fall out. Also, I molded and remolded the teeth and the plastic that came with it and no matter what, the teeth were so far out from my natural teeth that they looked awful. The curve of these Secure Smile teeth make it so that the bottom part sticks out really far from your real teeth. Then, after trying again to make them look more realistic, they broke in half. I still have them to show anyone how terrible they are. A HUGE disappointment. If you're looking for something that won't break check out the Imako, I have those too.

after reading the reviews on these i saw that some people were aparantley thinking that they would be a replacement for dentures and that some thought that they would not protrude farther than their real teeth , how could they not be a little further out when it is just a cap like appliance that lays over the outside of your teeth ? some people should not be allowed to write reviews or rate anything if they dont have the mentality to do so . they are very easy to prepare and fit , the look is natural enough that no one can tell that they are what they are , it sure looks better than a big gap in the teeth , being a smoker they do stain bad and fast , BUT , i did not do as instructions say and apply a clearcoat to stop this from happening as bad . a couple of times i started to eat with them in because i forgot i was wearing them , they are comfortable , easy in , easy out . not buck toothed , and do not protrude much farther at all than my real teeth . not being able to pay the $$$...

Not Bad
My one missing tooth is wreaking havoc on my self esteem... blah blah.. found imako! Although I think this is a great product for people who need it, it wasn't the right choice for me. My remaining teeth are in good shape which made the imako teeth overkill. My smile was totally different.. not bad, just different. I wanted to hide my imperfection not change my smile. I found another product that replaces a single tooth and i think that my be my solution.That said, the teeth are really nice looking and easy to fit. They do come out further than your natural teeth, but unless you have a problem closing your mouth over the teeth you have now I wouldn't worry about it. Also, don't put them in and look in the mirror and think "omg! this looks nothing like my old smile!" Like i said, if you have a need for them (several missing teeth, crooked teeth, discolored, metal showing from dental work etc.)they are great. Just fit them, wear them around for the day. Imako Vs. Secure Smile
Ok, I purchased both the Imako and the Secure Smile cosmetic teeth at the same time, because I was curious about which ones were best. I have gaps between my teeth and cant afford dental work at the time.Imako- pros- very easy to put on and are a lot thinner, so they do not stick out very far. They are also comfortable to wear. cons- The teeth are a little big and too white and the gums are a little pale. The teeth do not have a lot of shading in between, so they look like one large piece of white plastic covering my teeth from far away.Secure Smile- pros- they look realistic and more natural and have natural color (not outragously white and the gums are not too pale.) cons- They were a lot harder to put on. There is a "shelf" right behind the teeth, which makes them VERY low. I actually had to grind the shelf off with my husbands grinder in the garage so it would fit higher on my teeth. Once I got them to fit higher they looked a little better...

used it for years...
This product is great..(a little tedious for 1st time users) BUT, OH ! MY Goodness..The comfort is unbeleiveable compared to dentures that don't fit perfectly (none do). The fit is tight enough that they are never loose, and I haven't had sore gums for years...YEP, you heard me...YEARS, and I eat corn on the cob, apples, gooey candy (snickers,etc), and the teeth stay right where they supposed to...Wal-mart has quit carring it, and I began to panick. Then I remembered "order on line". So I had to find it on line. I ordered 12 tubes to last over a year. If you wear dentures, you can't go wrong with this stuff..

Excellent Product + Instructions for use HERE
Tried several other OTC adhesives, this one beats them all short of lab-quality reliner such as those from Perma-Soft. Here are the instructions for use, since I always seem to mislay the insert:How to apply Cushion Grip Denture Adhesive:1. Warm the capped tube in hot tap water (not boiling) for 5 minutes. This makes Cushion Grip easier to apply.2. Use the key. Attach enclosed slotted key to end of warm Cushion Grip tube. Turn key carefully squeezing out a ball of Cushion Grip 3/4 inch in diameter.3. Apply to lower denture first. It's important to first seat your upper denture in your mouth without Cushion Grip on it. The lower plate must be thoroughly clean and dry. On lower plate start the Cushion Grip ball at one end of the gum groove. Spread ball with fingers until entire groove is covered with a thin, even layer of Cushion Grip. Press layer firmly to plate. Let set for 5 minutes. Then put in lower denture and bite firmly...

A Dentist Recommends This Product
"Cushion Grip" is a paste that is formulated to hold loose dentures in place for a long time - several days in fact (not that it is recommended to keep a denture in for days on end!). Said another way, the paste has properties that allow it to remain retentive for several days. I have recommended it to some of my denture patients (if they have a properly made denture, yet still need added retention).If you have to use excessive amounts of paste to keep a denture in, then the denture probably needs to be remade or relined (or perhaps an implant supported denture should be considered in cases of severe bone loss).konedog
