Follow the directions, this stuff works.
I used this product to affix a piece of wood trim that kept getting pulled off of the front of my kitchen cabinets by the sink. I believe that the trim board worked itself loose because of proximity to the steam from the dishwasher/water splash from sink. Previously, I had tried Elmer's Wood Glue, and that didn't work for crap, despite prepping both surfaces, using a bunch of clamps, and waiting the appropriate amount of time. My three year old boy who likes to climb yanked it back off in no time. So I re-glued and clamped and waited, and it was the same end result.So I decided to step it up and use an epoxy adhesive. If you're not familiar, these two-part solutions need to be mixed thoroughly prior to using, otherwise you end up with a wad of glop that doesn't stick the way it's supposed to. Best glue ever
Not much to say. Worked as expected. Made my broken item fixed. Do yourself a favor and mix this on a piece of cardboard. I ruined a diner plate and my wife almost had a coronary.

Great adhesive!
We used gorilla glue to put up two metal spice racks from Ikea on a wall that could not take nails or screws. As long as you wait for the recommended time to pass, this glue can truly support a significant amount of weight. We have had these racks up on the wall for over a year completely full of spices and they haven't moved one millimeter. We purchased it again to hang up a portable door bell on our apartment door because a sticker based adhesive wouldn't stay on.

I love this stuff!
I've never used epoxy before, just super glues and the like. I wanted something stronger to glue a metal motor casing to a specific plastic piece, and it worked great! I was really surprised by this stuff, it does indeed set in 5 minutes, and gets even stronger over maybe 30 minutes. The package says wait overnight i think, but i think it's plenty strong after 30 minutes. The tubes don't really get clogged either if you wipe of the residual glue (i don't use the nozzles). The only thing I don't like is the smell...WOW! I mean it won't fill your house or anything, but within 6 feet of it, even after it's dried it still does IMO, it really stinks, and before it sets it's bad enough it makes me a little queasy. Other than that great stuff! Oh yes, if you can, try to roughen the surfaces of the things you are gluing together. It'll still be pretty strong if you don't, but it really makes a difference when you do.

My Favorite Epoxy
This item is my favorite epoxy - I've been using it for years (I prefer the 5 minute set time). With shipping, I overpaid; however, it appears that the item is being phased out - as I was unable to buy it at the local Wal-Mart, Lowe's or Home Depot - so I had to buy it here. Great product gets 5 stars, but the other reviewer is right: they gouge on shipping.

repair broken oil lamp
I bought this product to glue a broken oil lamp. I glued the oil reservoir to the base. It was almost transparent and very easy to use. The bond was excellent. I would recommend this product for glass repair because of the great bonding power, ease of use, and it's resistance to petroleum products and water. Great product.

Bit Tricky
It is a bit tricky to work with at first. When you mix the two solutions, the resulting mix stays very liquid. You have to apply the mix before it starts to set, otherwise it hardens so fast that you have no buffer time to apply it correctly. When it does start to set, the mix heats up which is a dead give-away that you only have 2-3 seconds tops to adjust any placement of the glue. The epoxy sets to a maple-like color. I gave it a 4 star rating because I prefer to work with less liquid epoxy and because it hardens much too fast for me to work with comfortably.

Great but needs resealable caps
It would get 5 stars for strength, but only gave 4 because it isn't going to be easily used again without dripping out or drying out. When you want a solid bond between two things for repair, nothing seems to work like epoxy. It dries faily clear / opaque, so if it isn't grandma's family heirloom china - it should look fine. However, you never usually need that much so why not make a dispenser that easily re-seals so you can use again? You will love the ease of mix by simply squeezing the right amount from both units simultaneously. It couldn't be easier or stronger.

Quick-Drying and Strong
This epoxy product definitely worked well for me. I needed to reattach a piece of metal to the plastic side of my laptop. The set time is good - about 5 minutes. Shouldn't be a problem so long as you are prepared for the bonding. It cures within a few hours, and it's a REALLY strong cure. I was impressed by its strength. In addition, this epoxy doesn't smell nearly as foul as other brands. The only reason it didn't get five stars is that it was a pain to remove the tabs (had to use a really good pair of scissors) and the cap for the tubes could be better. Not a huge problem though, just a minor inconvenience.

Dries, fast and tough. Can be painted minutes after use.
I use this putty for sculpting mounds, rocks, flames and other embellishments on the bases of my Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 miniatures and it is just wonderful when you need an inexpensive putty that dries quickly. It starts getting hard in as little as 5 to 10 minutes, so it's not good for areas where you need the putty to remain soft for a long time while you carefully sculpt and shape it, but on projects where precision is less important than quick drying time or low price, it's just terrific. I've even used it to sculpt "Nurgle goo" on some of my Chaos miniature conversions. Best of all, with the quick drying time, you can start painting your project just 10 to 15 minutes after use. Great Performance!
I purchased this to patch a hole in the side of my garbage disposal. Despite not properly cleaning the surface the product performed excellently. It bonded quickly and strongly, patching the leak with no drips remaining! I have a ton of it left over and am looking forward to using on any other possible projects!

Perfect for repairs
I've always loved epoxy, from the chip packaging of LEDs to the demonstration where you mix the resin and hardener and pour them back and forth until the resin suddenly hardens in mid-air. Therefore, when I had a piece of broken plastic furniture that I wanted to make sure could bear my weight, I was happy to try an epoxy based putty.This putty performed put to my expectations. It bonded to the plastic delightfully, is quite strong in its own right, sets to where you can use the thing you fixed with it in under an hour, and being able to pinch off and knead a bit to activate it is quite convenient.

Stick with this, you can't go wrong!
I am more of a breaker than a fixer. However, I recently had to drive backwards (called "backing up" by the experts) for about 15 feet and was attacked by a traffic sign turned terrorist. It knocked off the driver's side rear view mirror...you know, the one that is outside the car, not the one you actually use up by the roof. It was still semi-attached by some kind of wire or something, but was hanging down and giving me a view only of my tire. Since I already know what a tire looks like, and do occasionally look when making a lane change to the left, I tried to duct tape the thing back on. Didn't work. The mirror still sagged and all I could see was the tire. The man who fixes my car when things hit it said it would cost me $150 to get it back to where I could see those pesky drivers who are always in the lane you need to be in (since I couldn't see them, I just honked and waved my hand out the window a lot when I moved toward the left and you know what, it works.)...

Easy to use, works great
The directions are clear, the product is easy to use. Just squirt out some mix from the double barrel tube, mix it up, and apply with the little spatula/stick it comes with. I used this to reattach the plastic grill ornament/decal on my Volkswagen 2 months ago (popped off while parallel parking behind a truck), and the ornament is still solidly in place. No complaints here!Update 11/14/2010: The grill ornament/decal is still in place through a PA winter and a Missouri summer!

Great!
This is great stuff! It sets up fast and bonds pretty much anything to anything else, including to glass. I have used it for repairs including the rear view mirror in our van, which had fallen off since the windshield repair person didn't re-attach it properly.
