Better Quality could be on its way...maybe with higher prices
The former Columbian Envelopes manufactured by MeadWestvaco Corp is now owned by CenVeo Corp after MeadWestvaco/MWV has sold the envelope business to Cenveo, who also has thier own brand envelopes (Quality Park Brand Envelopes) sold here on Amazon and at both OfficeMax and OfficeDepot.As noticed Quality Park Envelopes also sells mostly for $30 and up for a box of envelopes, however some have been seen at priced below $20 and even $10.Buy them and stock up now before Cenveo raises prices on the Columbian Brand to match thier Quality Park Brand, who knows, they may even discontinue the Columbian Brand and stick to thier own Quality Park Brand.I know this, because i am also an employee at one of the former MWV plants, now known as Cenveo Corp.

Standard sized and high quality
These envelopes are great. The security print makes it secure enough to send secret spy messages, or send checks to my money laundering outfits! Best part you can print on them using most printers so I never have to write my return address... which I don't have... because my mail can NEVER be traced back to me.

What can I say? It's an envelope
I've always preferred mead security envelopes. They seem well made, and not flimsy and likely to fall apart. They also last a long time. Since I don't mail out stuff as often as I used to, I purchase a box of these and end up using them for about 3-4 years. They do not seem to get yellow, stiff and the glue works as well when it's new.

I ordered one box of these envelopes before we ran out of envelopes. These are the envelopes that we are looking for. They do the job at this low price. I did some comparison with those in local stores, but none of them came close at this price and quality.

I LOVE these envelopes!
I've used these Mead Press-It Seal-It envelopes for years and will continue to buy them. They are the best, hands down. They are strong, hold very thick magazines, catalogs, and mailings, and seal quickly and with very little effort. No more icky adhesive taste in your mouth and the adhesive on these seems much stronger than regular ones. They are thicker than some of the other 9x12 envelopes I've purchased. The price is very reasonable, too!

I was hesitant to buy at first when I saw this product due to the low customer rating, but there were limited options available for #6 security envelopes. Upon further review, the reviews were low because the 2 customers who ordered these meant to order #10 envelopes! DOH! I can happily confirm that these envelopes are just fine -- standard #6 security envelopes (3 5/8" x 6 1/2") AS DESCRIBED IN THE LISTING. C'mon people. Make reviews relevant and helpful; don't dock a product because you ordered the wrong thing. Product -- 5 stars. Other reviews -- 1 star.

These are the smaller envelopes so they are not letter size but for the price I don't care about folding paper.You cannot see through the envelope and it seals as well as any other out there.

Does what they're supposed to do
Basic envelopes that do what they're intended to do. Unfortunately, when I typed in self-sealing envelopes these came up and I purchased them under a false pretense. But as they are they're decent envelopes for mailing out a check or anything of that size.
