Impressive product
I had originally bought this for acne relief based upon other reviews of emu oils skin healing abilities. While it did not function as an acne cure, it does work for me as a healing accelerant.I have oily skin which is prone to breakouts. Unfortunately, using this product on my entire face clogged my pores and created more breakouts. However, I found that using the oil as a spot-treatment on cuts and old breakouts resulted in dramatically reduced redness and much faster healing. Whether this is due to the emu oil or the vitamin E in the product, I don't know, but it works great for me, so I will continue to use it.

helps arthritis
Emu oil was recommended by a Dr. to help healing after surgery. I used it for arthritis in my knees and hands. It worked very well. It does not leave an oily feeling . It did not help my lower back. It also helped a large bruise to heel quicker.

A potent high quality emu oil
I have used emu oil before and I'm a big fan! Yes, it really does moisturize skin and hair like no other product. I massage it into my scalp and leave it on overnight a few nights a week...after shampooing it out in the morning,my scalp feels stimulated all day. The hair is moisturized and shiny. On skin , you can't beat this product for smoothing out scars and imperfections. GREAT STUFF . The emu oil that this company sells is high quality and absorbs quickly into the skin. The color of this oil is very telling of it's quality. This one has a pale creamy translucent consistancy and is oderless ....this indicates it's purity and high grade. The darker the oil the lower the grade.

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL !!
I have researched Emu Oil on the internet literally for hours and was amazed on how beneficial it is. Because I have kidney failure and also taking blood thinners, everything has to be approved by my specialists. [Both said it wouldn't hurt to try it.] Additionally, I have fibromyalgia. The majority of the reviews talk about the effectiveness of skin problems, but I think I am the first to write a review about joint and muscle pains due to fibromyalgia. First, I was pleasantly surprised on how quickly I received this product, especially since I needed it for pain. Second, I have been using it for a week now and I am AMAZED how the joint and muscle pains have subsided. Given the fact that I've had fibro for over 2 years, I don't expect the pain to completely go away after one week. It is so effective that I was able to cut back on my pain meds for the fibro. So much that I have 3 days worth of meds left. Third, I "had" heel spurs from running marathons for over 14 years and...

Amazing stuff! A miracle!
I heard about this product from the reviews on [...] and gave it a try. Well, it's a miracle product! It is a great moisturizer for skin and hair. I used it as a treatment on my face and it took away my dry skin overnight. I used it in my hair and it took away the frizz. It's also the first product I've ever used that actually cured my psoriasis. I've been using a steroid from the doctor that's starting to lose its effectiveness, and I wanted to try something natural. I've tried every natural remedy out there but this is the first thing that actually worked. I love this stuff!

I love this oil but found the odor to be strong and unpleasant. I have a very sensitive sense of smell so this may not be a problem for others.For those who experience the same problem, add a few drops of your favorite scent in an aromatic oil, I used lavender, and the problem is resolved.

Great for your hair!
I originally bought this as a gift for my boyfriend who was told that emu oil helps with thinning hair. He has been using it for over a month now and we can both definitely see a difference. His hair looks thicker and feels softer. I've been using the oil on the dry ends of my hair as well. This really works wonders on all types of hair. Be sure not to use too much as it will create a greasy look. Just a few drops will do! This is a wonderful product that I plan on buying again.

Best I've found myself. IS there better even?
I have been using this for a few years and love it. I am in my 60's and my skin is wrinkle-free, more or less, as it is constantly moisturized with this emu oil. I have wondered how--when I finally find someone to re-marry--I will use it at night as I do now, because you look like a greased pig with it all over your face; BUT, it WORKS!If there is another brand that is better I wish someone would tell me. I love, love, love this stuff!And the company is very conscientious, too! Excellent service, excellent product!

I'm a believer. .
I read all the reviews before purchasing this, including the ones about it not having a "seal." I ordered a bottle of this for my 80 year old mother who has all kinds of aches and pains, and I also ordered one for myself because I was interested to see if it did a good job on dry skin as everyone said. Well it has been month since I started using this oil and this is my report:My mother told me when she uses it before bed on whatever is hurting, those aches are gone by morning. My report is that it truly does work great on your skin, my skin feels so soft and doesn't look dry anymore. I used it under my makeup today and I have such a glow about my skin! ALSO, it's good for burns, cuts, etc. My daughter who is away in college came home for the weekend and she is in sports (shot put/track). Her legs were aching and sore the touch. I rubbed her legs with the oil and by morning she said they were much better!So for those who don't believe what a great job it does in these...

I love this stuff. I bought it after being diagnosed with lichen sclerosus. It has strong anti inflammatory properties and has let me heal and sleep at night. My favorite bird is now the Emu bird.In my reading about Emu oil I found that research showed that when compared with human skin oil, the fatty acid composition of emu oil is found to be quite similar.I couldn't live without it.

Great Oil, even better price!
I was looking for emu oil and wanted to ensure it was certified. I emailed the Pro Emu Oil people to get the batch number which I later emailed the AEA (American Emu Association)to verify the batch. I also verified with the AEA that the list on their website of providers is not all encompassing and those vendors pay the AEA to be on that list. I checked pricing on all vendors on the AEA website and they are GREATLY higher than here. The pricing on this product is outstanding. I even checked with my local emu farmer and his prices were double this product.The bottle I received from pro emu via Amazon did have the AEA seal on it.As for uses...I initially bought it to use has a hair conditioning treatment. The first attempt was a mess and I had to use entirely too much oil to validate using emu oil. For hair purposes, I would mix some oil with conditioner and apply that way. Using all oil with quickly run out your supply!My favorite use so far...

Helped cat with allergic hot spots
My cat had horrible itchy allergic hot spots at the bases of his ears, and he scratched himself bloody. Hydrocortisone helped, but I got this emu oil to try to reduce the itchiness of the scabs so he wouldn't just scratch himself open again. The scabs crumbled away painlessly, and he's healing nicely. I apply hydrocortisone, wait a half hour to an hour, then emu oil. If he's good and doesn't squirm around too much, I let him lick some emu oil off my fingers too - he loves it! Hydrocortisone also makes his fur fall out, and I've used emu oil in the past to encourage regrowth of his fur, so I'm sure it'll help with that too.With spring coming, I bought another bottle just to have it handy! I like to use it on my own eczema spots, cat scratches, ragged cuticles, minor burns, and the itchy spot where my glasses sit on my nose.Progressive Emu Oil has no smell at all, unlike other emu oil I've used in the past.

bang for your buck
This product was very inexpensive, but works really well. I add it to pretty much everything. My face lotion, body lotion, conditoner etc. It is very thick and you don't want to use it that way. What I do is when I am getting in the shower I fill the sink with hot water and set the bottle in while I am showering. Afterwards it has thinned out. You just need to shake it and empty the contents of the syringe back into the bottle. It only takes a little bit and your skin will feel much softer. After using it just a few times my husband commented on how much softer my legs were. This is from a man that doesn't seem to notice much of anything.I purchased this originally after googling hair growth products and emu oil came up. For some reason I had lost a chunk of eyelashes and they seemed to be taking forever to grow back. This product really seemed to hasten their regrowth. I used it again after having eyelash extentions for a few months and having them removed I barely had any...
