Pain Relief
I bought this to help me stand the pain from PHN, the after effects of "shingles." I had a bad case of it and continued to bother me after it was treated by the doctor. The nerves were damaged so it continued to hurt even after the germs were gone. The ointment contains an ingrediant that I read about for the treatment of PHN. This ingrediant is supposed to help lessen the pain. Well, it does seem to work so that I am not constantly bothered by the pain.

Works Great!
I used this cream for a medium sized rib tattoo (lettering only). I put it on for 60 minutes prior and covered it with plastic wrap. It worked really well. I felt certain portions of the tattooing, but they were either areas that the cream did not cover (my fault) or it had been over an hour since I took the cream off. I would highly recommend this for tattoos. I also used it on a wrist tattoo a year ago, and I didn't feel anything!

Very effective Topical Anesthetic

Works Great, but very pricey
I was very happy with the service from the vendor and would definitely order from them again.This cream was recommended to me by my dermatologist. I have been having skin tags removed. Getting stuck with the needle was worse than the actual removal. My doctor said this would help. I had another appointment today, and it worked great. The pain from the injections was greatly diminished and I hardly felt the needle prick.However, I do have a couple of complaints about this product. First, the price. The cheapest I could find it was on Amazon for 26.99. But that was cheap compared to the prices I found on other sites. Second, considering the price, the tube of product you receive is very tiny. The tube is 15 grams which is half an ounce! (one ounce = 30 grams)Second, I found the cap on this product very difficult to open. Waaaayyy better than HUSH!!!
I recently started a HUGE tattoo on my stomach of a butterfly. The tat measures 18" x 13". I used Dr. Numb for the outline. The ONLY reason I felt anything in ANY spot was because we didnt start until almost 3 hours AFTER I applied Dr.Numb, which was stupid! But the parts that were still numb it just felt like slight vibrations. My tat artist kept telling me to try Hush. So I bought Hush for my next visit where he was starting the shading. I FOLLOWED THE DIRECTIONS EXACTLY!!!! I FELT EVERYTHING!!!! For the next 1.5 hours I was in excruciating pain! I just ordered 3 more tubes of Dr. Numb to finish out the butterfly on my stomach and the new ones I plan on getting later...Booooo Hush!!! Dr. Numb is KING!!!!

dr numb for tatts
It did numb the area. It actually numbed mines within an hour. But we still left it wrapped up for two hours. When the tattoo was started it was.still completely numb but after about 20-30 mins the numbness started to wear off.:-( its a good product for small tattoos n piercing. But nothing that will take longer than an hour at the most!

Awesome!
I'd been dreading my final tattoo appointment because it was in a sensitive area. I used this product as the instructions state and was not really convinced that it would work. I was wrong. When the tattoo started, I couldn't feel anything at all. It was amazing! Of course, it doesn't last for hours, but it got me throu the first hour with very little to no pain. After the numbness wore off, it still made the pain more bearable than having nothing at all. I will certainly be using this product again.

painless waxing
I was a skeptic for sure, but I bought it and used it to give myself a "man-zilian" I waxwd all my bits bymyself painfree! WOW, the only parts that hurt was when hair from untreated areas got stuck in the wax. I was able to pull a lot of hair out with "hard wax" and only feel a tugging sinsation, NO ripping pain at all. I followed up with cortizone cream and all was good!

Still felt pain
I ordered 2 of these tubes in order to do my laser hair removal on my bikini line and my underarms. I used the saran plastic according to the instructions over the skin for an hour or more, and also took an Advil just in case. I have to say the numb effect is perhaps a 65%, I still felt lots of pain. There should be a liquid solution or a lotion available over the counter just for laser hair removal and tatoos.
