NOT COUNTERFEIT
SD-card counterfeiting is truly rampant online (e.g. eBay). A 2GB card is modified to look like a 16GB card (both the packaging and the actual interface circuit, so it even tricks your computer). The card works fine until you use more than 2GB; then data corruption occurs.This 16GB card is a good 40% cheaper than anywhere else I've seen, so I was initially very suspicious. Amazon is certainly reputable; however, in this case the seller is some third party (BoBoTECHNIC), and Amazon is shipping it on their behalf."H2testw" is a standard program used to verify SD card legitimacy. It writes a bunch of data to the card and then makes sure that it reads back exactly what it wrote. I am happy to report that the card passes the test.Incidentally, the card holds 14.8GB (differs from 16GB due to marketing tricks that SD card makers play). H2testw averaged about 3.4MByte/s on both reads and writes. It takes about an hour to transfer 15GB to the card.

Works with Blackberry curve.
Its 16GB, and it is a great price for just being released.For the BB you do have to update the device software to at least 4.5. It will not work if your BB does not have 4.5. When installed in a BB with older software the BB only sees about 6gb, and it causes the BB to act strange.

Slow writes but worth it.
The chip I got had a very slow write speed (<500kbps) And syncronizing 10 gigs of music files took many hours. However the read speed is fast enough for the music player and I've had no trouble with video files so the read speed is fine.The long sync was so worth it. Having my entire music collection at my fingertips anywhere I go definitely made this a must-have upgrade for my phone.

**UPDATED**Would not consider anything other than Square Trade
****Update 04/11/12****As my initial review was written based on my experience with SquareTrade on items other than the Kindle Fire (which had not even been released at that time) I wanted to update with info relating specifically to the Fire warranty service.I have had to contact Square Trade because of an issue with one of my Kindle Fires and I mistakenly called the usual general warranty claim telephone number on the SquareTrade website. SquareTrade has a designated Kindle Fire specific warranty claim number which is listed on the warranty confirmation email customers receive after purchasing the Fire's warranty. Exactly as advertised!!
Square trade warranties are exactly as advertised. After almost two years of abuse on my 2nd Generation Kindle, I finally broke the screen. I am a Soldier and my Kindle goes with me everywhere, Iraq and Afghanistan included. I called Amazon (from Afghanistan!) and was directed to the Kindle warranty department. In less than 5 minutes, I had a new kindle on the way to my house, and a shipping label to return my broken one at no charge. I was very impressed at how easy it was. I just purchased the Kindle fire and didn't hesitate for a second to get the additional warrantly offered by Square Trade. Keep up the great work.

HOLY COW - don't overlook this SSD!
I'll start by saying I'm not a techie, but I do my research and I understand computers fairly well, so understand that this review is coming from the perspective of an educated layman with just his personal experience (and what he's read elsewhere) to go off.And, before I start, let me give you my hardware specs first, just so you know: HP HDX18T laptop, Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @ 2.66 GHz, 1080p HD res, 4gb ram (2 x 2DIMM), nvidia 130M card (does the job, but it's my weakest link now, for sure!). Used to be a top-of-the-line system, but it's about 3.5 yrs old now, and I haven't really babied it at all, so the parts definitely have normal wear and tear.Now, onto the review --Performance: This SSD simply FLIES. My "disk data transfer" Windows Experience Score was 5.5 out of 7.9 before the upgrade (with a WD2500BEKT 250 gb hdd @ 7200 rpm). I've done some write benchmarks on the 16GB version of this card and others with my Canon 40D. Reliable, fast memory
So far I've been happy with the performance of this Sandisk product. I've used Sandisk memory for some time now in my Canon SLRs and have never had any trouble with any of their cards. They do cost more but I feel it's worth it to have dependable CF cards. As far as performance, the Extreme cards are excellent. Until the buffer fills, my Canon 7D shoots about the same number of burst shots with the Extreme (60 MB/sec) as with my older Extreme III (about 20 RAW (18 MP) images at 8+ fps). However, after the buffer fills, there's a huge difference between the two cards. With the Extreme III, the camera chokes very quickly and takes much longer to finish writing the data. With the Extreme, I can continue shooting about 2 fps for several seconds. Update: I've now had two of these cards for over a year & a half with zero problems. I even ran one through a complete wash cycle in the washing machine by accident, dried it out, & it's still working great. The picture data on the card...

Great Book to start your eBay selling!!
This book is a great for getting started on eBay. It's easy to read and has great suggestions on how to list our items. I started selling some things I have around the house and making some money!! Nothing huge but this stuff is essencially free for me. It is surprizing what someone will pay for things. I just followed what he says in his book.The downside of the book is that he promotes his own eBay listing products. He mentions that his isn't the only one out there... remember that. It's an infinite internet world out there and there are more people/companies offering the same thing. Just do your research.He is honest and gives great suggestions. It's easy to read and inspiring. Back in the early days of eBay, you learned the hard way. This book ensures you won't have the learning curve that myself and Ginsberg had to battle through.The final 200 pages are a bit better in getting into the details of what things to do right and what things to avoid doing. There were small pieces of information I did not know, which I found helpful. At times he would plug his own products, which is fine, I suppose, but I would have appreciated a little bit more beef in the advice he was giving...

WORTHWHILE ADVICE
Can YOU make a million dollars as Adam Ginsberg claims in this book? Well...probably not. I mean the key to an e-commerce business is having a good product. You're not going to make a million dollars on eBay by trying to sell your old Beanie Babies or Furbies, that's for sure. Ginsberg is an unabashed fan of ebay as he sells eBay as much as he sells his own book. Ginsberg gives a lot of fairly valuable information on starting up your own eBay business but it still all comes back to having a marketable product to sell which ultimately is the key to success. I've been selling on eBay since 1997 and have sold thousands of items but I've always considered it more of a past time than a business. Ginsberg provides some interesting ideas of setting up shop, however as well as providing tips on listing items, photography, taxes, etc. But if you're an experienced eBay seller you'll probably be aware of much of this. not bad, but not real good either
The interface selection is decent, Dell didn't cut corners here, even though more than just 3 USB ports would be nice.For ~$600, an i3 was ok in Summer, but with the Year drawing to its end and Intel's new Ivy Bridge CPU's showing up in a couple of months, it would have been nice if a discounted i5 with its HD3000 could have made it into this model.There's no dedicated GPU at all, so you're stuck with the i3's anemic integrated graphics... ewww.As for the screen, I find the 1366x768 pixel resolution poor, no matter what fancy names they give it. But Dell isn't alone with this, everything from 11" to 15" comes with this atrocious resolution these days.To me, this resolution would be effective in an entry level gaming machine with a lower mid-range GPU like the HD6630M or GT540M, since those GPUs do a lot better with low resolutions.This notebook however has no GPU, so you won't be playing any games with it - leaving it for...

the only complaint is that the speakers are on the bottom, and are not the best. I would recommend a good set of ear/head phonesSpeed, power, all great.Battery life is exceptional for me. I play a lot of music, so it is understandably a shorter battery life.
