Works great for me!
This must be one of those items that works great for some people and horribly for others. I purchased this a little bit hesitently after reading the negative reviews, but eventually decided it was worth a shot.I wanted to use this to get rid of the hair on my back. So I smeared it all over with some contortions and set a timer for 15 minutes. The smell at first wasn't bad at all, but it quickly turned into a nasty, chemical smell that reminded me of the perms my mom and sister did once. It wans't horribly overpowering though, just irritating.After the 15 minutes were up I used a washcloth and wiped all the hair off. It seemed to work best if you were slow and methodical in this step. I also found myself rinsing the washcloth often to get the hair off. Then I jumped in the shower and rinsed and washed with soap.In the end I ended up with a perfectly smooth, hairless back and zero irritation. So far its been a week and there is no stubble, so...

May not be for everyone but it worked for my son
When my 18 year old son came home from college for Spring Break, he had a mission. He wanted to transform from "Big Foot's" cousin to "a dolphin with eyebrows". In other words, he wanted to get rid of some of his body hair. Now, I didn't think it looked too bad but since he was determined to get it taken care of I figured I should at least guide the efforts. The first stop was the local salon for a chest wax. It worked great but according to him it was very painful and he broke out in a rash that night. Benadryl cream helped but it took a few days to go away. His dermatologist's office recommended a product like Nair so the next time I was at the Pharmacy I picked some up. He carefully read the instructions and tried some on a small area on his ankle. That seemed to work well so he did the rest of his legs today and it worked fine. Okay here we go
I will be the first to admit that I used this on my genitals lol, and it worked! Unlike other types of cream depilatories out there this one did not burn my skin! The directions state to have it applied at a minimum for two minutes but no longer than ten. I had to let it sit for ten minutes but it did what the product states, it removes hair cleanly and painlessly. Have fun, my wife is!

No strong smell
I use this every 2 weeks to help maintain the hair on my legs. I have italian heritage and it really shows.This stuff is really gentle and does not burn your skin at all. I usually leave it on for about 10-12 minutes (sometimes longer if I get side tracked) and have never experienced any sort of burning sensation or redness. It has a more gentle scent compared to other hair removal creams and it seems to come off much more easier. I use this in conjunction with regular shaving and it has never let me down. The little sponge they include works perfectly to help remove all the hair without irritation.

very over priced
i just started using veet, i used it twice and got rashes each time, so i went to the dollar store here in my town. and bought this product, for $1. it works great, i recommend it. i stocked up. but if you dont have a dollar tree in your area, you can buy it off their web site, you could get a whole case for the price of one of these. times are hard right now, money is tight, gotta look for the best deals :)

Use after any hair remover to prevent burns and rashes
Without this product, hair removers burn my skin no matter how carefully I rinse off afterwards.Hair removers are highly alkaline and irritate the skin, but they're so quick and easy, and must cheaper than waxing. This after wash works with any brand of hair remover. It is a clear color in the bottle, but when you apply it to skin that has traces of hair remover, it reacts with the hair remover to turn pink.Since I found this product I am able to tolerate hair removers much better. I used to have ugly bumps and red skin the first day after using a hair remover, but no more.

My sister actually recommended this product to me. I was hesitant at first because I was afraid it was going to burn like Nair. It does have an order but it's not as near messy as magic shave. I've used it everywhere!!! Arms, Legs, Underarms, Upper Lip and Bikini area!!Ladies for your bikini area... I suggest you use some kind of petroleum based oil ... or just petroleum jelly around the hairline to protect your skin. I wouldn't recommend baby oil. Also, that spatula is just a waste of time and will actually cause you to get a chemical burn because you aren't removing the chemical fast enough.It's safe enough that you can rinse yourself in the shower or bath with warm water. Just don't rub it in... or use soap to rinse it off. You can use a bath scrungy to remove the hair. Go against the grain. That means wipe upward toward your belly and away from your genitals. I wouldn't recommend you use this product after you've showered.It tends to burn...

If you hate shaving, and dislike waxing, then this just might work for you. It does for me, although as someone who previously waxed keeping it up at regular intervals was something I had to get used to at first. Still, the benefits outweight the disadvantages for me--it's a painless procedure, but not quite as long lasting as waxing, because it really only chemically eats away at the hair follicles on the outside of the skin, and doesn't remove the whole hair follicle like waxing does.Anyways, this is a pretty good product that I highly reccomend. I've heard reports of some people having bad experiences with it but mine has been positive thus far (which is actually 3--4 months). I suggest testing out an optimal length of time to leave the cream on however (anywhere from 3 to 6 minutes) in order to use the product to the best effect.

This product is one of the best hair removers that i like!when you put the product on...instead of using your fingers you can use the curvy plastic holder to apply the remover onto your skin.i leave mines on there for about 5 mins.however if you leave the product on to long it will cause irritation or redness.after you remove the remover with the green stick you can rinse off the extra creme with warm water.pat dry and your skin is so soft and loveable.Try not to use a thick layer because the tube can go really fast and quick. If you plan on using everywhere on your body i would suggest to get two tubes of this.

So I have used other products that do the same thing. You apply them the same way and wait the same amount of time. This product worked better and did not irritate my skin at all. The other products i have used has burnt my skin and irritate it so much that i had red marks for hours (literally half a day). Avon's product was really mellow on the skin and worked very well.
