When the PowerBall won't cut it.
Unfortunately, or perhaps, foolishly, I own three vehicles with polished aluminum wheels. They are all custom wheels with no lacquer finish to protect them. One is a 4X4 (Isuzu Trooper) that sees duty in all kinds of weather. One is a "classic car" that is generally protected and the last is a PU which is always subject to weather.The Trooper was driven to Kansas City this last winter when they were having some of the worst snow and ice in MO for many years. That meant road salt and other ice melting chemicals were in use while the Trooper racked up more than a thousand miles of driving. The (forged Centerline) wheels were inundated and only washed once before spring. Needless to say, they suffered considerable corrosion before I had a chance to clean and polish them.I had been using the PowerBall to polish the Centerlines, and in the East Tennessee climate, they would become only moderately corroded through the winter and the PowerBall (along with a great deal...

Buffing Aluminum
I used this kit to polish 4 American Racing rims that were polished but had oxidation marks from my car sitting outside 1 Ohio winter. I first tried a Mothers PowerCone but the foam prevented concentrating the buffing pressure. This buffing kit did the trick. The various shapes and diameters made it possible to reach 99% of the nooks but after the 2nd wheel they started to flatten out preventing getting every nook. I suggest buying 2 kits if you're doing 4 wheels. I bought a second buffing kit from the local Harbor Freight to finish the last 2 wheels. If your rims are not heavily oxidized then the Mothers PowerCone will get the job done. Also, because the metal polish is grease based it's a messy job. Use old clothes and wear rubber gloves or you might end up spending more time cleaning up than polishing.

JVCC AF20 Aluminum Foil Tape is an all weather aluminum foil tape for general purpose use. It is a dead soft high tensile 2 mil thick aluminum foil coated with an aggressive acrylic adhesive system on a removable paper liner. Its malleable foil conforms well to irregular and curved surfaces; and will perform well at both low and elevated temperatures. It can also be applied at low temperatures. JVCC AF20 Foil Tape is used for vapor barrier protection, waterproof sealing, heat reflection & dissipation, masking in paint stripping and electroplating, and sealing plastic automation plateware for use in biotechnology research. The wider width 3 and 4 inch is also used to cover over and seal seams in Hexayurt shelters. Widths shown in dropdown are in inches. NOTES: Sizes shipped will typically be the tape industry standard metric-cut sizes, i.e. 24mm for each 1 inch of nominal tape width ordered (rolls are approximately 5% narrower than the nominal size). Tape fine but needs a better release paper
Foil tape sticks well, ( good adhesive, and foil is strong.) Problem is with release liner or paper tape on the back. If you cut the tape and liner together it is very difficult to pry them apart. Release liner / Paper backing should be thicker. If paper gets wet then it tears like toilet paper, and on a high humidity day it gets soft and is prone to tearing. I have found that once I get the foil tape and liner apart, it is better pull the liner back and only cut the foil. Recommend you store indoors (air conditioned) to keep it dry up until you need to use it.Minus 1 star ( 4 out of 5 ) because of the release liner issues.

Just got mine today, will update this review if anything comes up.Pros* It looks awesome, very sleek and classy. Fits perfectly (I have the Verizon iPhone). The material doesn't feel like brushed metal, but it doesn't feel like cheap plastic either.* Case does not noticeably show fingerprints* Came with one screen protector (front only), which I wasn't expecting since it didn't mention it in the product description. I ordered this case specifically because I thought it would go well with my new white Verizon iPhone. So far, so good.The brushed aluminum color is slightly darker than the metal of the iPhone, which is the only reason why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. Had the color matched the phone exactly, this case would have been PERFECT.As for it's durability, it seems to be pretty good. I've dropped my phone a couple times now already and the case seems to be doing its job of protecting my phone. Finally there is a hard case for compact flash cards. I went in to every in town store and couldn't find a hard case for compact flash cards. My dad has a high end camera that took these cards and needed a way to store them. The case works perfect. The hard shell protects to cards in addition to the cushion inside keeping the cards exactly where you left them. A+

Cool Little Storage Case
This case is strongly constructed, has a secure hold on the cards, not exactly light if your used to the little cf plastic cases or some vinal holder, but it looks slick. And thats really all that matters ... right ...? ;)
