Coins look decent but are more silver than gold
The coins aren't too shabby. The problem is that the coins shipped from seller BravoFun look more like silver than gold. I am talking like maybe 90% silver, 10% gold (yellow). On top of this they have heads on both sides of each coin. How stupid (i.e., cheap) is that? These are of the Veni-Vidi-Vici variety. I gave the product three stars, because at least the coins them selves aren't overly cheap looking as far as plastic coins go, but they don't at all resemble the picture attached to the product.

Nice Look, So-So Taste
Gold coins are a Christmas stocking tradition in our house (from Santa, of course) and, let's face it, most look cute but taste horrible. I bought these for my son's birthday party pinata and they arrived promptly, in a plastic bucket, all in great condition. The coins are large, the foil bright and tight and the chocolate just so-so ... But not terrible and better than a lot of gold coin chocolates I've had in the past. All in all, a good price for a good product, just don't go in expecting gourmet. You're paying for the fun factor, not the candy itself.

Incorrectly labeled as Hanukkah gelt, but very tasty chocolates anyway and a good value for the price.I bought two boxes of these (48 bags) to use as "booty" for a pirate-themed birthday party. We filled up a plastic treasure chest with these bags of chocolates and set the rest aside to use to fill the pinata at my daughter's 6th birthday party. Then we hid a series of clues around the park leading the kids to the location of the hidden treasure chest. Once they found the treasure chest, we distributed the booty equally amongst our scurvy crew and absolutely all the kids loved them. I was glad I had two boxes because the crew grew in size as many of the bystander kids that were just playing at the park that day joined in on the excitement of the hunt too.They were marked as US currency, and were not marked with Hanukkah related symbology, but in our case that was irrelevant. I recently purchased two boxes of Chocolates for a St Patrick's Day Party. The shipping department noticed that they had only sent one box and did everything possible to make it right! There are 4 coins per mesh bag (3 small ones and 1 big one). The big coin doesn't have any menorah or Hebrew writing but the smaller ones do. Beware if you are buying this for a generic gold coin - - these aren't generic. Chocolates themselves are fine.
