Best Bang For Your Buck
If you want value for your money, if you lose your headphones too often, if you wear out the cord, or plug on your headphones, these are the ones to get. I have a couple of MP3 players I use at work daily and with them I wear my headphones constantly. I either lose or wear them out whether they are more expensive or cheaper. I was absolutely startled at the bass that came our of these phones. It is deep, rich and accurate. Overall sound is better than a pair I once had that cost me about 10 times as much. Knowing that I would either wear them out or lose them I bought 4 pairs this time. I will definitely buy more when the need arises. An excellent deal, I highly recommend these phones.

Best headphones I have ever owned
Now, I know that may sound cliche, but it's true. I am rough on headphones, plain and simple. I use them at work, shove them in my purse to take home on the weekends, shove them in my laptop case, take them back to work, and rip them on and off my ears all day long. I always kill the cords, and I always seem to lose sound in one ear.So, when I broke my last set - much to my fury - I set out to find a new one... this set was one of two I ordered. It was the cheaper of the two, initially purchased as a back-up in case the more expensive ones I bought went dead unexpectedly.Heh. I prefer these to the more expensive ones. I've hardly touched those ones.Seriously, they have the best bass I have EVER had on a headset. Ever. And, I confess, I'm all about the bass. These lasted longer than most brands I've had, sound fabulous, and are finally, after almost a year and a half of hard use, are just barely (and I do mean barely)starting to wear down...

Best in class
These are the best portable headphones in this price range. Good bass and smooth, natural sound. In fact they would probably still be the best bang for the buck at three times the price. If you can afford more, consider the Sennheiser PX100 for about 40-50 dollars. But if you're on a budget or don't want to worry about losing or breaking a more expensive pair of headphones, these are definitely the ones to get.

Works Great With PSP
This 16GB Memory Stick Duo II card works great with the PSP portable gaming system. It comes pre-formatted, so all you have to do is stick it into your PSP and go. In fact, there is a picture of the PSP right on the packaging. The usable space on this device is actually 14.9 GB, however. The "Mark2" certification on the card has to do with higher writing speed requirements and indicates the memory is certified to operate with AVCHD recording products.

Sony Memory Pro Duo II - Fast But Expensive Memory for Your Sony Devices
Even though I have been slowly weaning myself off of the newer Sony cameras, I still have some Sony devices that need memory pro duo cards. There are some advantages and a few disadvantages, namely the cost and availability. Sony's memory format averages 30 to 100 percent higher prices for the same capacity of SDHC cards. While that sucks, if you have a Sony Camera or a PSP there's not much you can do about it.To that point, both the new and upcoming will benefit from any of these memory cards. Both of those devices, along with most Sony devices for that matter are only comaptible with the memory duo...

A DEBT OF GRATITUDE.
Q: What transforms a guy who formerly shrugged off Springteen into a die hard fanatic in one lighting-bolt of an electric moment?A: THIS!All of a sudden, I "get it."Let me set the scene: I came home, dogged and tired, from work. I turned on the TV which, thanks to my roommate at the time, was tuned to MTV (I mention my roommate was watching because I despise MTV, both for what it has become and its contribution to; scratch that; its LEADERSHIP of, all that has become wrong with pop music today). And to add insult ot injury, who's video was on? Creed. Without getting off on a rant of what is probably a hundred reasons why, I'll simply say I hate f**king Creed! For the purpose of the story I do have to mention perhaps the biggest reason why: they are laughably fake in their stupid posturing and are poor performers at that. Their standard riffs and the laughable b.s. that is their overly-rightous lyrics simply enhance this disgusting sherade. So I let...

Live In NYC - Best Music/Concert DVD
Bruce came back in 1999 and ended his amazing world tour with an incredible 10-night triumph at Madison Square Garden in NY. I seriously doubt that any other man or band could do this but Bruce Springsteen. The man is older, but he can still sing, play guitar, and in my mind, will always have the stage presence of a god. Bruce delivers a great show... Bruce leaves a part of himself on the stage each and every night. I've seen Bruce live before, bit I missed out on this tour (I don't recall him making it through Arizona). But after viewing this concert on DVD, I feel like I was there. I was never one for MTV or watching music videos... but this is different. This is an "experience". Great song selection (not just the hits), outstanding camera work & editing, superb sound (better than the CD). What's not to enjoy? Bruce & Band have set the bar extremely high for a DVD music concert experience. The ONLY other music DVD that's close (tho a distant 2nd place to this one) is the Eagles...

Hope and Dreams
Some day someone will make the perfect rock concert DVD. Until then, this one will be the benchmark. Just short of perfect, it's got all the magic and energy of a live concert, but with better views of Bruce and the Band.Fifty-two years old, thirty-something years of performances behind him, Bruce Springsteen remains transcendant. Reunited with the E Street Band, he shows in song after song why he is the very best: there is nothing held back, there is nothing artificial and there's nothing between you and what he feels and believes. All those years down the road and he still believes passionately that rock and roll can save us and redeem us.The DVD has two disks. The first is the HBO broadcast, and also includes "New York City Serenade," largely a worshipful interview by Bob Costas. The second DVD has eleven additional songs, a few of them superior to much on the first DVD. Let me recommend especially "Land of Hope and Dreams," Bruce's answer to the...

Songs: My Love Will Not Let You Down, Prove It All Night, Two Hearts, Atlantic City, Mansion on the Hill, The River, Youngstown, Murder Incorporated, Badlands, Out in the Street, Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out, Born to Run, Land of Hope and Dreams, American Skin (41 Shots), Backstreets, Don't Look Back, Darkness on the Edge of Town, Lost in the Flood, Born in the U.S.A., Jungleland, Light of Day, The Promise, Thunder Road, Ramrod, If I Should Fall Behind. 190 minutes. There's only one better way to experience these performances by Bruce Springsteen and his reunited E Street Band, and that's if you were actually in Madison Square Garden when they were recorded in June and July 2000. This two-disc set includes more than three hours of music. Disc One features the 14 songs that were aired by HBO in 2001, while Disc Two adds another 11 tunes released here for the first time. The Boss and his band are in top form; their sheer exuberance at playing together, not to mention the joy and inspiration they provide their audience, are palpable, thanks in no small part to the excellent direction and superb sound (Dolby Digital 5.1 or PCM stereo). Highlights? Almost everything, from timeless anthems like "Born to Run" and "Thunder Road" to the riveting "American Skin (41 Shots)" and a bluesy, solo "Born in the U.S.A." A Wonderful Concert!!!!!!!
First let me report that the DVD is (almost) the WHOLE CONCERT, there are 25 tracts included (there are bonus tracks coming on the DVD only release which is exclusive to PBS till march, then will be available hear). This DVD is much longer then the CD and this is a welcome change for a deluxe package, many times these deluxe editions are only a sampling of the songs. Not this time, this is a total bargain.Another wonderful collection from Andrea Bocelli. This is a live recording of his Central Park Concert (NEW YORK) which was attended by 60,000 people on a rainy september day and night. This is very well done, it sounds wonderful and Bocelli delivers like usual. He starts with some Opera, and mixes in Italian favorites, A Great Spanish Aria and some pop.He starts with a rousing rendition of La Donna è Mobile from Rigoletto; He then moves into Di Quella Pira from Il Trovatore, again a rousing rendition; Followed by the beautiful Ave Maria, "Central Park...

I love the music of Andrea Bocelli.
I will probably never get to see Andrea Bocelli perform live in Central Park. Listening to this disc is the next best thing. I don't categorize him as just an opera singer. He can sing any kind of song perfectly. This disc is proof of that. I love his duet with Tony Bennett entitled "New York New York" This song is a celebration of a great state. "Funiculi Funicula" is a song with an upbeat playful tone. I like this song a lot. "Di Quella Pira" is a song that makes my spirit soar. This is a kind of song that gets me motivated to try something difficult. His duet entitled "The Prayer" with Celine Dion is a highlight on this disc. This song restores my faith in the power of prayer. "Ave Maria" is a song that touches my heart. I love his version of this song. "La Donna e Mobile" makes me wants me find a partner and dance around the floor. More is a Sinatra song, but Andrea makes it his own. This tune is very romantic. Chris Botti lends his talents playing the trumpet on...

Product Description

All new Andrea Bocelli deluxe CD/DVD (and standard CD) of An Evening with Andrea Bocelli: The Central Park concert will be released this November, 2011. Internationally acclaimed tenor Andrea Bocelli will perform a free concert on Central Park's Great Lawn, Thursday, September 15 with the New York Philharmonic, conducted by its music director Alan Gilbert, as a special gift to New York City. This spectacular evening, sure to be a once in a lifetime musical event will be recorded in high definition by THIRTEEN for WNET for national PBS broadcast on GREAT PERFORMANCES in late fall. Mr. Bocelli is widely regarded as the most popular Italian tenor in the world with more than 70 million albums sold. He will present a varied repertoire including his best known and loved songs that have become fan favorites. Andrea will also be joined by special guest artists to make it a truly memorable evening. "The New York Philharmonic and Andrea Bocelli have teamed up on more than one occasion in the past to joyful musical effect," noted Zarin Mehta, President and Executive Director of the New York Philharmonic. "This September, in our grandest collaboration to date, New York's own Music Director, Alan Gilbert, conducts the New York Philharmonic in this spectacular concert starring Andrea Bocelli, and a universe of the brightest lights of the world's opera stages. The magnificent setting, Central Park's Great Lawn, is equal to the beauty and splendor that will certainly define this one of a kind, free event - a gift to the people of New York. I can't think of a better way for summer in the city to culminate." Top to learn more

Just for Bocelli's completist fans. MOR (Middle-of-the-road) usual Christmas stuff!
It's hard to think of another classical performer who can draw an audience of 60,000, but that level of popularity brings with it certain duties, especially regarding repertoire.Accordingly, Andrea Bocelli opens this show with "La Donna È Mobile", effectively an affirmation of his assumption of the mantle of the great crossover tenor of his era, and closes it with his own breakthrough signature tune, "Con Te Partirò", and that most populist aria, "Nessun Dorma".In between, though, things go slightly awry when he diverts into pop territory in duets with Tony Bennett and Celine Dion, and simpering MOR arrangements (usual David Foster) of "More" and "Volare". good value; adaptable
Customer Video Review Length:: 0:24 MinsThis little webcam has proven to be a very good value for its price. Its focus and light correction are good and its video and quality are quite reasonable. I've used it on several different computers, from a five-year-old XP laptop to a recent Vista desktop platform and have had no problems. The software is simple but the camera adapts readily to other software: I've noticed no problems with Skype and indeed it's very useful on that.I'm familiar with the Logitech line; I already have a Logitech Pro 9000. Frankly, this C310 webcam gives fairly similar results at a much lesser price.Highly recommend for those looking for an inexpensive but capable little webcam, especially those starting out.

Bruce Is Back & Better Than Ever
When Bruce Springsteen reformed the E Street Band to mount a world tour that would stretch out over the course of 1999 & 2000, amid the ecstasy of it all, there were some questions surrounding the tour. It had been twelve years since the band played a full tour together and with most of the band pushing fifty would they still have the spark and fire that made them the most cohesive and electrifying live act in music. Well any questions that were out there were quickly erased the moment they hit the stage. Like a fine wine, the band has gotten better with time. They may not be able to put on the four hour marathons they once did, but they were much tighter than they had ever been, making the music crisper and more passionate. This live set is taken from the last two shows on the final stop of the tour, Madison Square Garden, New York City and are the basis for his first televised concert performance on HBO. As Mr. Springsteen often does, he reworks songs in concert, giving...

Definitive Bruce and the E-Street Band
Here is a pristine document of one of the finest working bands in the history of rock music, performing some of the genre's finest songs. The album serves as a great tour through the Boss's career, including absolutely killer versions of his best songs. The first three songs are great, but things really start to cook on track 4 with a stunning reading of "Atlantic City". The performance simmers and roars, perfectly complimenting the pathologly of rage, regreat, violence and despair within the song. The repeat of the chorus at the end with everyone singing is just chilling. They sound like ghosts. "Mansion on the Hill" is given a tropical treatment that plays up the wistfulness and longing in th tune... I could go on. A stone-cold killer version of "Badlands" with agonized backing vocals that need to be heard to be believed. An extended, almost slo-mo take on "The River" is just harrowing, an equally loose reading of "Jungle Land"...

Where Can I buy Cds In Nyc

A physical copy costs to make – a digital copy… not so much. Never will I get rid of the CDs I actually listen to. The ones sent to me. Sure… but not the ones I love. I always want a physical copy. I refuse to buy a downloaded movie or record.

So if you buy one CD, you can shake hands once, but twice if you buy two and so on. Of course no one wants to buy multiple copies of the same CD so record companies make different CDs with different covers, artwork…. ] And in Japan there are events connected to CDs so you have to buy CDs to go to those events. In Boston, we have Newbury, Best Buy… but in Japan, there’s many, many, many record shops. And because it’s a lottery system to determine those that attend such events, you have motivation to buy multiple CDs. They wanted someone to export Japanese music, their music, to the world. SH:  No, not only Japanese because Japanese people want to listen to foreign music as well. TP:  Why do you think that Japan has CD rentals but not the US. I mean, in the US, we can rent video games…. SH:  The huge difference is that in US, it’s incredibly hard to find record shops, CD shops. SH:  In Japan, video game rentals are not popular but CDs are. ] In Japan, there’s a culture that appreciates the CDs themselves, the cases. You can rent CDs. They sell and rent CDs. They often have little books with pictures so it’s important to hold the CDs [I nod with understanding. TP:  When you say many many, how many is that. It has music from anime, video games…[In Japanese:] In Japan, the fiscal year starts in April. TP:  I have a question about the US and Japanese music market but since you mentioned culture shock, let’s talk a bit about that now. If you want to listen to Japanese music on Pandora, it’s kind of hard so we offer FaRao.

Wax Trax in Denver buys and sells used CDs. “I think that boxing up CDs to mail them in for an indeterminate amount doesn’t seem like a real streamlined process,” said one Wax Trax employee.
