Great Party Game
This is an incredibly entertaining game, reminiscent of the cardless "mafia" game many of us played in junior high and high school. It has become the game of choice among my friends and me in the last few months. Each player is dealt a role that he or she plays in the game (sheriff, deputy, outlaw, or renegade). All the roles are secret, except for the sheriff's. Game play proceeds as players eliminate each other in hopes of doing what is best for their role. The sheriff tries to stay alive and kill the outlaws and renegade(s). Outlaws try to kill the Sheriff, and so on. It gets pretty addictive and aggravating at the same time, but in a very good way.Just read the rules and deal everyone the picture-instruction cards, and the game is relatively easy to understand. The game is the most fun when you have about 5 or 6 players. It doesn't make much sense with 4 (too easy to guess others' roles), and the pace slows a lot with 7 or 8 unless everyone is paying attention and...

Quite possibly the most addictive game ever!
Bang! has bceome a huge favorite of ours. It is addictive beyond belief -- our friends always ask us to bring it with us when we get together. It does take a bit (at least one round through) to get the hang of the rules and the strategy, but is pretty easy to play after the initial learning curve. I would suggest that someone read through all of the rules and review all of the cards before playing with a group -- just so that there is an expert around for answering questions. Also, Bang! the bullet contains all of the expansion packs. When teaching new players how to play the game, it is wise to start with the core pack first and then add in the expansion packs as people get more comfortable with gameplay.Enjoy!

Fun!
The other reviewers here have done a good job reviewing this game. So rather than repeat a lot of the same things, I want to offer tips for learning the game.It can be complicated if you try to use all the cards in your first few games. I recommend removing these cards before your first game:1) all the character cards. Use them as life counters only.2) all the cards with the two white card symbol on the bottom (there are 5 of these in the Dodge City expansion part)3) all the green-bordered cards (all of them are from the Dodge City expansion)4) all the High Noon and Fistful of Cards cards5) all the Horses (these are blue-bordered and have names like Mustang, Silver, and Appaloosa)Deal out the role cards (Sheriff, Deputy, etc.) like normal. Sheriff gets 5 life (bullets), and the rest get 4.Play the game like normal. After a few games like this, you will get the hang of the basics of the game. Then,...
