I have used other home coloring--always a little disappointed between the harmful chemicals and the shine that is from chemicals and not my hair. Seemed like my hair itself got more brittle and required more care products the longer I colored.Naturtint creates deep rich color with natural highlights (people think I have gently highlighted hair)My hair is in great condition with the conditioner that comes with it. I bought Naturtint at Whole Foods and the only down fall was that it was quite expensive ($18.00) compared to online! I'll buy online from now on. I have tried many products and this is by far my favorite. I am very impressed with the natural color. It covers gray really well and even though I am a brunette, I tried Light Golden Chestnut 5G and it's perfect. I tried the lighter color but like all color treatments, it comes out a lot darker than the box ....The color matches perfectly. I like that it's natural and there is no odor or burning... my hair feels baby soft. I am absolutely using this product again.

I purchased this product for the first time only recently, after doing some online research. I was looking for a healthy alternative to a brand that I used for almost a decade. I have about 20% gray hair, more so on my temples, and my natural hair color is dark brown. The Medium Brown 4N by Tints of Nature seemed to be the best match, so I gave it a try. I had nothing to lose but gray hair.When I got the package, I read everything on the box and in the instructions, just to make sure I'm not missing any warning, as we all know, these things always come with all sorts of warnings. Though, I did not do the allergy test 48 hrs ahead as I never had any allergy issues before, even with brands that are known to be less safe. And I did not regret it, because I had no issues at all. I am in love! This organic hair color provides the best coverage results I have found in any hair color, chemical or organic. It leaves my hair soft, manageable, shiny and looking 15 years younger! Excellent hair color
I have been using this haircolor for 9 years. I can't be without it. I started using it because I wanted something that was safer and more gentle. I find that if I use a little less of the developer, the color lasts longer. This is a great product and I highly recommend it!!

As good as/better than salon stuff
I started using this when I was moving out of town and told my hair stylist that I would no longer be able to have my hair done with her. I also told her that I was cutting costs and thinking about dying my hair myself. She recommended that I use this! In fact, she has used it on clients and thinks it's "wonderful." I have tried the other major "over-the-counter" brands (L'Oreal, Revlon, Garnier) and Naturtint has the best gray coverage of all of them, hands down. It is also very mild and doesn't dry my hair out, and has no harsh chemicals. I don't know why I think it's strange that a natural product such as Naturtint works eons better than big-name, chemical-laden counterparts, but it does. If you are considering dying your hair yourself, I highly, highly recommend Naturtint.

The best for a more natural hair color product
I was nervous about moving from a semi-permanent hair color to a permanent hair color, and I wanted a product that was as natural (for both me & the environment) as possible. I can highly recommend this product! (at least for the color I use - Light Chestnut). It makes my hair feel soft, shiny, and healthy. I also tried another natural hair color by Tints of Nature, and while it colored my hair just as well, my hair didn't feel as healthy (more dried out, less strong - my hair is fine and I wear it long, so this is important). Naturtint includes a conditioner/color-setting product, and I think this might be part of why it's better. I also think Naturtint smells better (less chemical-ly). I do find, however, that I have to leave the product on my hair for the longer amount of time listed on the directions (30 min. instead of 20) to cover grey more successfully and last longer.
