I consider this purchase SAVING money
I am still trying to find a local store that offers certified USDA sprout seeds. But until I do I continue to order here on Amazon...and these seem to be the best pick I've found.If you love the health benefits and/or taste of sprouts on your sandwiches, salads, casseroles etc. this is the best way to go. Not only do you SAVE money by growing your own, you can't beat the fact that you are getting organic, guaranteed pesticide-free ones here that you grow in your own kitchen. I am a sprout lover and find these far more full of taste, freshness, and crispness than even those that I buy in the organic grocery stores so I much prefer to grow 'em on my own.Too, I have found these to offer a good bounty of sprouts. Once grown, they'll last far longer than the store bought was well. (You are avoiding the transport and storage time prior to purchase of ready-grown sprouts which is probably part of the reason for that.)Not to mention it's kinda fun to see em...

Sprouting successfully
Ordered this mix from the Sprout House after Todd's Seeds had sold out. My container of sprouts also lacked a seal, but I'm usually happy about minimalist packing anyway. Someone more knowledgeable about the company can correct me on this, but I just assumed the seeds are fresh enough that a seal isn't necessary, as it would be if the product had first been shipped to a grocery store and sat on the shelf for a few weeks before being bought.Onto the most important point: The seeds have a high germination rate. I've been sprouting them in a tray sprouter and it seems that 95% of the seeds will germinate. The sprouts grow vigorously and have a fresh, slightly-sweet-slightly-spicy taste to them. IMO, the mix is versatile for any recipe you'd want to use sprouts in. This seed mixture is now my go-to mix, as I love them in sandwiches, soups, and salads (try having them with Annie's Naturals Shiitake and Sesame Vinaigrette dressing, along with fetuccini noodles tossed with the... A little disappointing
This is the first time I've sprouted any seeds other than alfalfa. I've used alfalfa seeds from SproutHouse and they sprout well.However, I would judge this mixture much poorer in germination. They tasted good but I expected a better result. I use the EasySprout sprouting system. Top to learn more

Fresher and cheaper than grocery store sprouts
If you've never grown your own sprouts, you're missing something wonderful. Takes a few days, but the taste is incomparable and they're always fresh. Note that you don't need any fancy sprouting equipment; you can do just as well with a jar, some cheesecloth, and a rubber band. Top to learn more

Fresh, delicious, easy
These seeds were fresh and sprouted easily first in a mason jar with cheesecloth, then I went back on Amazon and bought an Easy Sprouter. Either way works great. In 6 days you have your own fresh alfalfa sprouts to use in sandwiches and salads or just right out of the container!I start mine on Sunday: soak overnight. Monday - Friday, rinse and drain. I keep mine near the kitchen sink. In the morning after I fill my coffee pot, I remember to grab the sprouts and give them a rinse. Doesn't take any time out of my day. Top to learn more

Variety and then some!
Because all the alfalfa sprouting seeds I could find were $10 and came in pound bags I decided to try the sampler. If you're an avid sprouter, (I'm not) this is a great way to try a bunch of different seeds. And they don't skimp on the individual packets either. Great design and functionality
I decided to get the Victorio 4-tray sprouter after looking at all the available options (sprouter cup, all the other brands of sprouters with stacking trays). Based on the price and the transclucent nature of the trays, I settled on this one and am really glad I did. My seeds (from the Sprout House, ordered on Amazon) sprout in 4 days, growing upright in this sprouter. My sprouts really flourished with this sprouter. This compared to a mason jar, which yielded me significantly fewer, less vigorous sprouts.I love the convenience and functionality of this. It's got a tiny footprint-- This is a must since I have literally four sq ft of counter space in my apartment's kitchenette. Yet, the four trays will accommodate the growth of more sprouts than I can eat in a week. On the design.. The water drains quickly, usually within 10 minutes.
