Perfection!
I have had mineral foundation applied to me in the past and HATED it--every brand. I have fair, sensitive skin and don't usually wear any make up at all. This, however, is super! I tried it on a pricey-seeming whim, because I wanted some extra sun protection and I'd like to look a little more put together. It goes on like a dream, is organic anddoesn't make me itch. And I look like me only better--my boyfriend, who can detect even tinted moisturizer from a block away, just thinks I look nice. Do check the company website for great details on the shades, and err on the side of choosing lighter. I'm not white-white but pretty light, and I still went one shade too dark. Even a bit too dark it's great. But I was so impressed with the product that I went ahead and ordered a second batch in the lighter shade. That's love! I'm looking forward to a long-term relationship with Afterglow!

Best mineral powder on the market
I have tried about 6 brands of mineral foundation powders, including Bare Escensuals, Amazing (which got great reviews, but did not give enough coverage for my liking), and several other expensive brands. Afterglow is HANDS DOWN the winner. It has no irritation (which several brands had -- itching), and went on flawlessly, providing the perfect amount of coverage. Worth the price, and i want to support smaller companies.

Loving LipLove Lipstick
Afterglow cosmetics makes a great lipstick. It's moisturizing and creamy and has a great line of colors. I bought "Secret" and it's great. I also like that it's organic. The ingredient lists on some other brands of lipsticks, and knowing that I'd be ingesting it if I wore it, made me lose my appetite. I'm sticking with Afterglow Cosmetics now.

Worst Customer Service Ever
Nice lipsticks, very moisturing and creamy. The color I have is Autumn, and it's really lovely and rich -- even if it was a bit overpriced. But the price I could deal with. The problem I found -- and it's a really substantial one -- is this company's useless "customer service." The one person I managed to contact live there tried to be helpful (generally no one answers their phone or returns messages), but I guess it's beyond any one person. So the rundown on what happened in my case is as follows: Placed two orders, two separate dates. BOTH were lost, never shipped, until I called (a couple of weeks later in both cases) to find out what was going on. Then refunds, partial credits -- whatever -- take forever. And they don't really know how to do them. One credit to me at Paypal was incomplete because I got charged a service fee for my refund. Also, I was told (by that one service person who tries to help) that my shipping charges would be refunded, because of all the screw...

Finally I have found an eyeliner product that can stay put. I have extremely oily skin and I would hate using any sort of eyeliner product since it would just end up giving me raccoon eyes in a few hours. Now I use the HOT COCO eyeliner powder with water of the "Afterglow Colorlock" to line my eyes on top and bottom. I love the staying powder and it lasts all day without smudging. Its such a pretty color and it enhances the honey brown color of my eyes. It has been a blessing at school, work, and parties through heat, oil, and sweat.
