Great item!
I had been looking for a "sweater shaver" for awhile, but couldn't find one at Walmart, so looked on here... I'm glad I saw the review for this item that said they found it at CVS, because that's where I ended up getting mine. I've been shaving sweaters, shirts, pants like crazy since I've gotten it and am extremely pleased with how it has completely renewed my clothes. As with other reviewers, I would love it if they had an a/c adapter for it, but I'm sure that would also raise the price of the item as a whole. I really like this one because the metal screen is very solid, unlike another one that CVS was selling for $7.99, where the screen was very flimsy, like it could easily be "torn" or whatever...

I actually bought this on a whim at CVS (pharmacy), cost was same as Amazon - $9.99. It works like a dream! Only 2 nitpick comments:1. should have AC adapter instead of/in addition to batteries (takes 2 C batteries)2. lint receptacle fills up quickly and must be emptied oftenOther than those minor issues, it is a great product.

Great
I bought this after I skrewed up my hair with scissors when I was trying to do a ton of layers. It's a little hard to adjust to if your useto scissors, but once your use to it it's absolutely amazing. If you just don't trust professionals to do it (I don't) and want a lot of layers. A good trimming comb
I purchased a number of grooming products to use on my Newfoundland who has A LOT of fur of various lengths and strengths, in a wide variety of bodily areas. This razor-comb is very effective for trimming some of the fur around his ears, feet, elbows and tail. I use it in conjunction with other grooming tools, each with specific purposes for location and type of fur. This comb was easy to use and fits in nicely with my other tools. After cleaning it up, I might even be able to use it on my own hair to trim and shape in between professional cuts.

It's really good
I purchased this product to trim the fur of my Yorkie's head and face. He is 4 years old and still extremely scare when I use the electronic shaver to groom his head. With this razor comb, he is very calm and relax when I was cutting his head and those area around his ear. Since the head with less fur compare to the body and this product just function perfectly. I had been eying a similar product made for human hair--the Seki Edge Styling Razor Haircutter. Just like this product, it's a junky piece of plastic holding two ordinary double-sided razor blades. Both provide two different edges with adjustable lengths. They sure look identical, but the pet grooming product is about $5 cheaper. I opted to buy the Easy Groom Pet Razor Comb for my hair, not the dog's.Getting professional short, choppy haircuts is expensive. I try to make each one last as long as possible. That means minor touch-ups at home using either a Kretzer 6.5" texturizer scissors (more for blending) or a razor. The Easy Groom pet comb does a good job razor-wise, and makes major mistakes less likely.
