A Pretty Decent Soft Case
I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered this, I just knew I wanted a soft cover, rather than one of those hard plastic ones. After getting this in the mail and tossing it on my DSi XL though, I've got to say, I'm pretty happy with it. It covers the outer portion of the DSi completely, save for the hinge area, the L & R buttons, and all the cut-outs for the stylus, headphones, etc. (which all line up quite nicely). The inner bottom half is completely covered (save for the screen, of course) with raised button protrusions that line up with their respective buttons below well. The inner upper portion is just covered around the areas above the speakers, so as not to interfere with the sound. My only real gripe is that it fits on the XL a little looser than I would have liked, but not so loose that it's slipping around all the time, so that can be overlooked, for the most part. Must-Have
Bought this for my grandson's DSI-XL to help protect it. Since he's only 8 and not very gentle with his toys, I bought it to protect the exterior of the game and help cushion the fall in case he drops it.

Needs some improvement
Pros: Makes the DS not slippery, feels good in hand, covers up most of the color of DS. Easy to attach to game system. Helps keep the outside from getting smudgy and dirty. Cons: The rubber collects a lot of dust/dirt, the rubber on the back part of DS is loose and should be removed completely. I don't see the point in having the back part attached. The control buttons are harder to press. It would be great if this was cut out.
